Room was clean and large but had the feel of a conference room. Could have used a couple of pictures on the wall. The bathroom was modern. Shower was great! Breakfast buffet fantastic with many different offerings. Good location to tourist attractions. Parking garage only two blocks away. Elevator wasn’t working but was not an issue for us.

Great location, and delicious breakfast (both continental and Macedonian). Very friendly staff. Nice room, but the bathroom needed to be cleaned more thoroughly (sink and corners) when you look a bit more closely. Overall very happy with the stay, and would stay again.

Clean and quality hotel in city center

The room and bathroom are clean. Everything is new. Staff is friendly. Breakfast has many types and sufficient. We stayed in a room with three single beds, we were satisfied. Location is very close to the city center. I recommend it.

Had a great stay!

We had a great three-day stay at Alexandar II. It is a small hotel, one of the reasons I chose it. It was clean, the staff were really good and friendly people, the breakfast was incredibly tasty and the beds were comfortable to sleep in. Also, the location was fantastic, not noisy, but very close to Macedonia square and the old bazar (and also to malls if shopping is your thing), and all sorts of touristy attractions. We highly recommend Alexandar II, and definitely stay there again when we return to Skopje one day!

A Good Place to Stay in Skopje

The breakfast was very good. The location of the hotel was very convenient to visit Macedonia Square and the other sights. It was too difficult to access their parking so we ended up in another lot but there are quite a few options available. The staff were very friendly.
