"Great room, loved the fireplace and kitchenette. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was large with a lively soaking tub. Breakfast was very nice, staff was courteous. Hotel provides sand chairs and beach towels. Perfect location! Steps away from pier and restaurants."

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Mostly what stood out for me was the wonderful atmosphere of the hotel itself. The owners have kept up the ambiance of the beautiful building and interior with gorgeous period paintings, moldings and woodwork. I spent considerable time just meandering through the main halls, in awe of all the beauty. Not only is the inside amazing, but there is a gorgeous courtyard and pool outside. "Clean room. Upgraded room was spacious and the decor was simple and nice. I liked the efficient layout of the kitchenette area and refrigerator was larger than the typical hotel sized one. Beds were comfy. Quiet despite being sold out. Parking was full late night but managed to find a spot. Front desk staff was kind and accomodating. I would stay here again due to proximity to walking the Manhattan Beach neighborhood behind the hotel and close to grocery stores/restaurants nearby. Good value for...
