"We had a fantastic stay here for my husband's birthday weekend. The staff was so nice and friendly. The shaded outdoor area was cozy. Our room was huge (the loft) and the bed was very comfortable. The place is pet-friendly and we loved meeting the adorable dogs. Everything was perfectly clean as well. We were in the heart if the historic district with an easy walk to everything. The evening wine and cookies were a bonus!"

"I loved the old world charm & the decor. The breakfast & dessert nacks were delicious. The staff were awesome (Gary & Dwayne). The room was very clean & nicely decorated. What I did not like was the noise that you can hear (beautiful tall windows but not sound proof). I also was a little uncomfortable being asked if I wanted to leave a tip after check out. Shower had a rainfall head which did not work and the handheld spray could not be secured for use without hands. Mirror over sink was very small. Lighting in room and bathroom was very dim. Cable TV and internet was not available on the last morning of our stay. Attempted to contact staff via phone but no one answered."

"We had the best stay at the Stephan Williams House! I could not recommend it enough. Doc was wonderful and so helpful throughout our stay. The house and courtyard are beautiful and very clean. Delicious southern breakfast served daily. The location is perfect, so we never had to use our rental car in the city (which stayed for free in the parking area behind the house).
