"We booked a "cosy double" on a Bank Holiday weekend and with a 6'6" husband it was indeed cosy! I suppose we thought they were referring to the aesthetics rather than the actual size of not only the room but the bed! As there was an event on it was particularly busy but the staff were absolutely wonderful, very welcoming and accommodating and incredibly friendly. Very good food and service and we would stay again, but perhaps ensure we had a more spacious room!"

"Unfortunately it was a little noisy outside due to locals . The work going on at the moment made the hotel look unwelcoming from the outside but fine when inside . The air freshener in the hallways may need a different sense as I found it a little overpowering. Staff were super and very friendly."

"Great location, price and staff. Parking too. We had a room for 3 adults but only had two towels and there was no hot water from the shower. The kettle also didnโt look the cleanest and had limescale. Itโs perfect if you want cheap and cheerful for a night out but if you want comfort or are taking older family and friends it misses those final touches"
