"The pool was amazing, never seen one like it, with a ‘beach’. Our studio was clean and practical, with a great view. There was enough room to eat indoors or on the terrace. The sand was not the same as sand in the UK. If there was something we thought missing in the kitchen , Yannis found one for us straight away. I have been an Air B andB host and I know things go missing! V generous starter pack. "

"The property (building/room status) was fine, but the location was far from town resulting to a daily walk of aprx. 5km (under heat and humidity) since finding parking at Parga has the same chances of winning the lottery. In five days one change of towels/ sheets and no additional provision of soap/shampoo is unacceptable for an accomodation of this rate. Also the pre-payment of guarantee i.e. 50% of the total amount against the terms of Expedia was very peculiar too. Finally potential issues...

"20 Euro taxi from airport. 25 Euro taxi into town so 2 Euro bus better, takes card payment. Very nice breakfast , can watch planes take off."

"very clean hotel and very welcoming staff. The location is great and the pool was really refreshing. the view over the airport was fun and great to see the sunsets. a relaxed vibe all round and just a good spot. The staff were very helpful. The aircon was a delight as well! Breakfast was a little lacking in the selection - for a vegan there is a limited choice, but the onsite Skybar has a great selection of food and drinks for all times. Plus the view is amazing."

"Fantastic location and lovely traditional communal areas. Some rooms are a little tired and in need of refurb which should be prioritised particularly as the room rate has increased. Some excellent and helpful staff always help to make Mon Repos a lovely place to stay. Corfu and Corfu Town are wonderful."

"We had a good one night stay before flying home. We were able to check in before 3pm which was helpful on a hot day. The pool area is modern and spacious with plenty of seating options, albeit with a fairly expensive pool bar for food/ drinks there are 2 or 3 shops in easy walking distance. Hotel is right by the 2a bus which goes to the old town and the plane watching spot down the road. There is a bus stop right outside so do stay on the bus and dont take the advice or google maps and walk up the tricky path a few stops earlier! The room was okay, a bit dated but the bed was comfortable and had a large balcony. There is a fridge but it is very old and was not working well. Shower was excellent and spacious. Breakfast was fine as we have seen throughout the area but did the job. Price a little high for the room overall but able to stay in the hotel or pool area until our flight and store luggage in the hotel which was very helpful! Would stay again if a bit cheaper. Also good views of the airport runway if plane spotting is for you!"

"It is a beautiful setting. The hotel is relatively small but the villas are nicely placed and the pool and bar areas are very nice. The sea is very pleasant with a fine rocky almost sandy beach easily accessible. Sun loungers on the beach are not available but there are enough sun loungers in the surrounding spaces with a sea view so that is OK. There were no water sports eg kayaking available although the hotel next door has a couple of paddleboards you can hire. The sea swimming area is pretty and warm, fine for most but if you like a bigger sea swim you do end up in boat lane traffic after 50 to 100 metres. Very relaxing. Great breakfast and food if a little pricey. Local village is very sweet and renting a boat there is easy. No massage or spa. No real activities to speak of. Very hilly site. But if you just want somewhere clean relaxing with a nice pool, a good view and easy access to the sea, it hits the spot."

MarBella, Mar-Bella Collection

"We stayed at the Marbella Collection for 6 days with our two young daughters and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the whole experience felt effortless and when you’re travelling with little ones, that means everything. The location is stunning, the beach and pools were the highlight of each day for the girls and felt safe and manageable for families. The food was a real highlight too; great quality and variety throughout, the dining experience genuinely added to the holiday. What really set this apart was how family-friendly it felt without being exclusively a “kids’ hotel.” Our daughters were catered for brilliantly while my husband and I still felt like we were having a proper holiday. The rooms were spacious and comfortable for a family of four, and the staff were consistently warm and attentive throughout. A special mention to two team members who truly stood out. Lydia at reception was warm, kind and genuinely welcoming from the very first interaction and went above and beyond to help make my husband’s birthday special — doing so with such grace it felt truly personal. Aurora was equally brilliant; so patient and kind in answering all my questions about the resort. These two are a real credit to the Marbella Collection. An easy five stars. Highly recommended"
