"The outdated linens were the main reason I rated this inn as good rather than excellent. The bedding did not feel good quality and seemed quite old. I would gladly stay here again if the bedding were updated, as it truly makes a significant difference to the overall guest experience. The front desk associate who checked me in was absolutely outstanding. She went above and beyond and her exceptional service was greatly appreciated."

"We stayed in a 1 bedroom superior lake view chalet that had been updated with paint and new furniture. It was light and bright and very comfortable! I hope they continue to update all of their chalets."

"Loved the "treehouse" vibe, sent lots of pics to our granddaughter. Rooms were clean and heater and air conditioner worked perfectly. We ate in the restaurant (Cooper's) which had delicious foods. We took dessert to our room. We didn't use the pool or gym, but we did see people in the pool, kids having a great time. This place is surrounded by towering evergreens and oh, so quiet! We would certainly go back."

"Nothing wrong with the room I guess. You get what you pay for, although for the price I paid I'd like not to press up against the curtains to get out of bed. The shower & mirror were really short, but I'm tall, so I know that's a me problem. Lesson? You get what you pay for. Maybe spend the extra 50, 60 bucks & be comfortable next time."

"The room was spacious with good natural lighting and had a very modern and efficient heating/cooling system for an old building. The location downtown was also very convenient."

"Nice for a "motel" like property, and comfortable enough. But there is not staff here (except housekeeping in the mourning), so if there is any problem it's not super easy to get help. I texted and never heard back. Clean all around and interiors were comfortable. The bed had big divots on each side, giving me the impression it was pretty old. Big plus - free ice! I'll probably try another place next time."

"This is NOT a 7. More like a 5. One blanket on a cold night, one washcloth, one hand towell, no bath mat, no blackout curtains, plus freeway noise. Never staying here again."

"We went to snowmobile and the snow didn’t cooperate but we settled in to our sweet thoughtfully detailed room. We were told it was the smallest of the rooms but as a couple we enjoyed it and the Mountain View’s. We took advantage of the eateries downstairs loving the Butcher Block grill gotta try the steak sandwiches!! So good. Loved exploring the area and coming back to the common areas and a toasty fire. The history of this place is so cool and got to have a lovely conversation with the owner...
