Kovat sängyt, pieni uima-allas kattoterassilla

Henkilökunnan englanninkielentaito oli vaihtelevaa mutta useimmat henkilöt olivat ystävällisiä. Sängyt oli kovat ja huone pieni, kylpyhuone oli siisti ja isohko. Huone siivottiin hyvin joka päivä. Huoneen tv oli todella pieni ja vain kahdelta kanavalta tuli englanninkielistä ohjelmaa eli uutisia (BBC ja NBC). Huoneessa oli parveke sisäpihalle. Aamiainen tarjoiltiin aamiaishuoneessa ja myös ulkona oli pöytiä. Aamiaistarjoilu oli perustasoa, mahansa sai täyteen mutta ei mitään gourmeta. Hotellin kattoterassi oli kiva ja jostain kohtaa oli näkymät järvelle. Uima-allasalueen lepotuolit olivat mukavat. Uima-allas oli pieni mutta riittävän kokoinen käyttötarkoitukseen.

A very comfortable stay - thank goodness for such efficient air conditioning in the room. Why do hotels use those horrible coffee machines? Italy has such great coffee when made properly.

Et godt Hotel til pengene

Et godt 3 stjernet hotel hvor du får en god og venlig betjening af personalet, hvor der blandt andet er fri internet og cykel til fri afbenyttelse og pool på taget ( ikke så stor 5 x 10 meter) men OK og der er indkøbs muligheder lige ved siden af hotellet, vi havde et værelse med skøn udsigt over søen.

You gotta have a car to get around, although there are some buslines and ferrylines to take you around (didn't try those). Room was pretty small, bathroom nice and roomy. The pool was ok, not too big or warm, but it was there.

hotel arena sirmione lontano dal centro di sirmione camere standard piccole

L'Hotel non e' per niente a Sirmione ma a Laguna di Sirmione , 2,5 kilometri da Sirmione ,le camere standard sono piccolissime non ci entrava neanche il lettino da campeggio che abbiamo pagato € 10,00 al giorno ,che mi hanno posizionato tra i piedi del letto e l'armadio, quindi l'armadio non si poteva aprire, e dire che avevo chiamato direttamente in albergo per specificare che mi serviva il lettino e mi hanno detto che expedia non l'aveva specificato e mi avrebbero dato una camera piu' grande sempre tra quelle standard. Per il resto tutto bene, vicino alla strada che porta ai parchi, bella piscina anche se un po' piccola ,buona colazione e personale molto cortese e gentile.

Hotel Arena - excellent location close to lake

Cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Good location if you want to be away from the town centre. Free parking. Warm welcome on arrival and excellent service all round. Breakfast simple but nice, and more than adequate. Rooms very well maintained during our stay and bathroom kept very clean. Lake can be seen from balcony albeit through the trees. Free bikes for hotel guests which is brilliant and we used every day - 2 mins to lake and 10 mins to Sirmione. Very handy supermarket next door to hotel. Overall a great experience and would definitely go back there.

Hotel Arena a Sirmione, un quattro stelle al prezzo di tre!

Ottimo punto di partenza per un weekend in giro sul Lago di Garda. Strategicamente posto nel triangolo tra Sirmione, Desenzano e Peschiera, consente di raggiungere in pochi minuti di auto tutta la costa sud orientale e sud occidentale del lago. Ambiente familiare e confortevole, senza pretese ma perfettamente pulito e in ordine, così anche la colazione nella seppur piccola saletta dedicata. Un ottimo compromesso qualità/prezzo per tutta la famiglia o un gruppo di amici.

Hotel Arena er såmænd ok. Poolen på taget er absolut hotellets stærkeste kort. Her fra er der en pæn udsigt over søen. Hotellets service var dog rigtig kedelig. Vi følte os på intet tidspunkt velkomne. Små ydelser såsom internet kræves der betaling for...pr 15 minutter! Hvilket beskriver ånden på hotellet: "Et smil fra personalet koster ekstra!"

Smelly room

We were not expecting much from this hotel before arriving as all we wanted was a base to discover the lake area. The room we were given had a horrible smell in it although everything looked good and clean. There were no other rooms available and the manager on duty got it very hard to acknowledge there was a problem. On the plus side the breakfast did set us up for the day ;)

Nice place

Hotel is nice and staff extremely friendly and helpful. One disappoint is that there is no transport to and from the airport at Brescia. Hotel is only 15 minute drive away from this airport, but yet it cost 50Euros to get a taxi there. Hotel is approx 3kms from the Old town but very easy to get to on the hotel bikes.

Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet und sauber, die Hotelanlage ansprechend gestaltet, auch der Swimmingpool auf der Dachterrasse mit angeschlossener Sitzgelegenheit hat uns gut gefallen. Nur die Hauptverkehrsstraße, die das Hotel vom See trennt, erwies sich abends und in den Morgenstunden als sehr störend - durch den Verkehrslärm war es nicht möglich, in Ruhe auf dem Balkon zu sitzen bzw. bei offener Tür zu schlafen.
