"There are two hotels on the property, the Hennan Alona and Hennan Tawala. We stayed at the Tawala, but beach access is through the Alona's beach club. We were told we couldn’t use their pool or most beach facilities.
With our flight delayed by more than 3 hours, the hotel told us that upon checkout, we could walk around the property, but not go in the pool or beach. It’s nearly 90 degrees out so we walk around in the hot sun, or sit in the lobby.
And they made sure to disconnect the WiFi the moment they processed the checkout and the hotel doesn’t offer free WiFi in the common areas.
BTW, the coffee is terrible and the buffet breakfast is mostly bland food that isn’t even really warm, even though they’re under heat lamps to in chafing pans.
Potato wedges and omelettes were basically room temp. None are made to order. You’re better off going off property for breakfast, even though they included it in the room price.
The staff is always super friendly and polite, they get a 5 star rating. The hotel itself, maybe a 3. "
