"Not every day you stay in a literal castle. Walking up to and around the castle and knowing it would be our home for a short time was awe inspiring. Just what we were looking for. It was perfect to eat outdoors at the bistro in the courtyard as if it were home. Inside, the bistro has a terrific menu and the dining experience at Aurum’s would be fitting for royalty. I came with my son and would like to return with the rest of my family. I will note that The interior is most like a modern 5 star hotel with details of age - the aura of age doesn’t hold as strong - but not sure I would want to really feel like it was 1060 when I went to go to sleep…."

"The place was very clean, the building from outside looks very unique, in the center of the city. The room has unusual design but I loved it. I just hoped if the washroom had a door instead of curtain. But anything else was pleasant (interior design and decoration). Very unique hotel."

"Nicely situated hotel in Liege with convenient (cheap) car park across the street; friendly and very helpful staff at reception/concierge desk. Rooms are clear, with good amenities and a spacious bathroom. We had both dinner and breakfast at the restaurant where the food was very good. The cook-to-order egg station and wide choice at breakfast for a reasonable price were a plus. We will undoubtedly use the hotel again next time we visit Liege"

"Large rooms - high ceiling ++ Big shower ++ Soundproofing of rooms ++ Rooftop restaurant food was amazing !! So was the view 😊 Minor issues... TV did not work Phone to reception didnt work Shower... 1 evening with cold water only Sometimes long waits at the elevator... there is only one 🙃"
