"We very much enjoyed our comfortable stay at the White House Apartment. Myself and 2 of my teenagers stayed at this property for 5 nights. We didn’t get the access instructions as Expedia had said but were able to contact the host directly who responded immediately to get us in. "It did not look like the pictures. The pictures showed it to be modern, bright and cheerful. It was not. The pots still had grease on them. No coffee pot. No coffee or tea provided or shampoo or shower gel. It was supposed to be near airport. It was not. It was supposed to have free airport shuttle. It did not. The immediate area was full of graffiti. The backyard was unkempt. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. "

"Overall I had a pretty good stay. The room was very nice and the location is PERFECT for walking to downtown Split and the main hubs. I only had issues with the AC and shower in my room. For the AC, I wasn’t really allowed to adjust it much since apparently the central unit for half of the rooms on the floor was in my room, so I couldn’t adjust without it affecting other tenants. Which was kinda weird. And the water temperature in the shower was uncomfortably erratic. I would get decent warm water for literally a few seconds before it would go lukewarm or even ice cold. This happened every single day while I was there. Told the front desk about it on my third day and they still never fixed it. Overall, I wouldn’t discourage others from staying here. Just some things to potentially keep in mind. "
