At 10:30 PM, a staff member knocked on my door to deliver a gift for an "anniversary." I explained that there must be a mistake as I had no such occasion, but the staff member handed me the gift anyway and proceeded to call another colleague to verify the situation—all while leaving my door wide open. Typically, one would expect the staff to take the item back and investigate elsewhere rather than making a guest wait at the door for five minutes late at night. To make matters worse, after the call, they asked me again if I was "really sure" I wasn't celebrating anything, which felt accusatory and rude.
Furthermore, the walls were so thin that I could hear my neighbors talking until 2:00 AM, making it impossible to sleep. When I tried to call room service, I couldn't find the extension number listed anywhere in the room. Lastly, despite uploading my passport during the self-check-in process, I was asked to present it again at the desk, which made the digital process feel pointless.
I stayed here hoping for a relaxing time, but the service was deeply disappointing. I will not be staying here again.
