The staff were exceedingly kind and helpful and went out of their way to accommodate me. The location is fantastic and in the heart of the city. They don't have a restaurant but do offer breakfast. The rooms are plush and comfortable and well equipped for an apartment-hotel. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Long Stay in Singapore

We had a 21 night stay in the Novotel Living. Its in a great place centrally located in Singapore with easy access to transportation. Shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. The initial welcome was great and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was exactly what we needed and is well serviced. Plenty of space to cook, eat and relax. Pool is wonderful and most days we had it to ourselves.

Other guests at the hotel on the 22nd floor were very noisy, but the staff took care of it rather quickly after I reported the issue. JAG was especially helpful for the entire stay.

Good Location but poor condition

Pros: good location Cons: poor condition. The room didn't even look like the photos. Bathroom hook was loose. Shower door loose and leaking water cause it couldn't close properly. After the shower ... used the hair dryer.. it sounded loose inside and started smelling smoking and had to go down and speak to staff about all the issue the staff didn't offer a room change even though i requested.

Our family of four recently stayed here for 6 nights and had a wonderful time. The staff were helpful and communicative, the rooms were large and clean. The kids loved the pool and we were close to the metro and local shops (we would recommend the LG of the Isetan on Orchard and Scotts for groceries). We would happily recommend it to other families travelling to Singapore.

We went for the cheapest option and it was very spacious. We had non stick pans, stainless steel pots and pans, plates, bowls, electric rice-cooker, coffee machine, kettle. Trust me, the washing machine was so handy especially for Singapore's weather so we didn't have to bring much at all because we could wash clothes everyday. It's very clean and the air-conditioner is very good. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel isn't far at all from the Thai embassy where there is a hop on and hop off bus. It's on a quiet road but very close to Orchard mrt station and it's only about a 3 minute walk to the Shaw Centre where you'll find lots of cheap food options starting from £3 to £10 for a bowl of noodles.

Hotel staff was extremely helpful. Everyone was friendly, including the cleaning and maintenance workers. Overall, excellent place to stay. The only drawback was breakfast brought to our room each morning in bento boxes rather than open buffet. But this was unavoidable because of Covid restrictions. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities.

Conveniently located, clean and has a pool.

Had a great stay at 8 on Claymore. We stayed during the Christmas and New year period. It is super close to the MRT and the malls (if that's you thing). Unfortunately the weather was only good for the pool on one day, however it is really nice to be able to relax after the hustle and bustle that Singapore can be. Although I try to usually stay at boutique hotels, 8 on Claymore was really clean and continent. Due to covid requirements the breakfast was delivered to the rooms every morning (bento box style), it was very hit and miss and I believed it may of been sourced from outside. I would recommend for a stay a little longer than a short holiday or and extended business trip, as it has a washing machine and big fridge.

The ac created a lot of moisture in the room, which had been solved with a portable dehumidifier that created a lot of noice and had to be emptied daily. The breakfast that was server as a bentobox without a possibility of choise, was not ready until after 7.30. The content was not anything that i will be missing.

Room had a double bed rather than the advertised queen which we pointed out to the manager who insisted it was a Singapore Queen size. Apart from this exagerration, room was in very good condition, staff were very friendly, breakfast was included, property location was excellent and we enjoyed our stay.

Die Lage des 8 on Claymore ist einfach toll. Alle Ziele sind sehr einfach erreichbar, speziell auch die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel, wie die Metro. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit. Alles in allem absolut OK.

Hotel in sehr guter und zentraler Lage, Dennoch absolut ruhig mit guter Ausstattung für City-Urlaub. Personal und Hotelmanagement sehr freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. In der Nähe sehr gute Auswahl an Restaurants, Shopping- Malls und MRT- Stationen. Deshalb sehr zu empfehlen.
