Reminds me of a seaside resort. Room was great, beds were comfortable. Dining a short walk in either direction. Breakfast was delicious and many choices. Staff very welcoming and helpful.

German road trip.

We are currently on a road trip in Germany and this was our first night. We had been travelling for many, many hours and needed somewhere to stay. This hotel was great. The location was simply stunning. The room was comfortable and tidy. Also a very nice size. The balcony let you have a lovely view of the lake. Check in was superb and very efficient. The breakfast was good with a great selection. There isn’t a lot around the hotel (there is a little shop/bar opposite), so be prepared for this. There is a hotel next door that has a good restaurant. We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity came up.

Séjour parfait avec vue sur lac

Séjour très agréable au calme avec terrasse (à partager avec une chambre voisine) qui donne vue sur le lac. Embarcadère du bateau juste au pied de l'hôtel Excellent petit déjeuner. La chambre triple dispose d'une chambre double et d'une chambre simple en enfilade vers la salle de bain.

Excellent little hotel & cafe

Amazing location on the edge of the lake. Fantastic welcome and lovely breakfast. Wifi did not work in the room and 3G/4G was a bit dodgy. But I can forgive them for that as it was overall excellent. I'm sure they will get the wifi issues sorted out

Garni Hotel Cafe Henn

Cafe Henn was a lovely hotel and the staff were really friendly and spoke fantastic English.. handy as I haven't practised my German for a long time! The coffee and cakes they served during the day were delicious and the view was beautiful. Sadly, as we went out of season the nearby restaurants etc. shut very early or weren't open at all - didn't bother me though. Just enjoyed the walks and little drives into Simmerath. Thanks for a great stay, Lawrence.

Heerlijk hotel als uitvalbasis voor fietstochten !

Fantastisch hotel van waaruit twee fietstochten zijn gemaakt: rondje Rursee 50 km / 1000hm en Aachen/Monschau via de Vennbahn. En na inspanning 'n heerlijke taart als beloning in Café Henn. Tenslotte kan nog gebruik worden gemaakt van het zwembad/sauna van hotel Paulushof (1 min lopen).
