"It’s in a perfect place to stay in Arusha where you can walk to some good cafes and restaurants. You’re very central so you can take short taxi rides to anywhere in the town. It’s in a shopping center so the entrance is a little confusing from the street. People were nice. There’s a little outdoor area with tables."

"Der er desværre opstået et problem med min booking. Navnet på hotellet og den oplyste adresse stemmer ikke overens, hvilket gjorde det meget svært at finde frem til stedet. Da jeg endelig fandt den korrekte adresse og kontaktede hotellet, fik jeg oplyst, at der ikke findes nogen reservation i mit navn. Dette undrer mig meget, da jeg både har en bookingbekræftelse og en kvittering, der dokumenterer, at opholdet er booket og betalt!!"

Ilboru Safari Lodge - The Platinum Route Company Limited

Ilboru Safari Lodge - The Platinum Route Company Limited

10/10 Excellent
"A Charming Lodge with Wonderful Hospitality and a Personal Touch! I spent several days at Ilboru Safari Lodge at the beginning of my Tanzanian adventure, and it was a lovely introduction to the country. The lodge has a cozy, quaint atmosphere, with beautiful gardens and a peaceful pool area. I thoroughly enjoyed my afternoons relaxing by the pool, reading, writing and enjoying a glass of wine. It was the perfect place to unwind after a long journey and ease into the rhythm of Tanzania. One of the things I particularly enjoyed was the friendly, relaxed atmosphere and the opportunity to meet interesting people. Evenings spent watching the sunset, sharing conversations over dinner and chatting around the fire were some of my favourite moments. A special mention to Alex, who took the time to sit and chat with me about Tanzania, its people and my interest in exploring beyond the usual tourist experiences. He was incredibly generous with his local knowledge and helped connect me with opportunities to learn more about the local community. Those conversations and connections added a whole other dimension to my time in Arusha. Ilboru isn't about flashy luxury. Its charm lies in its character, peaceful surroundings and genuine hospitality. It was a wonderful home base for the first part of my adventure. Asante sana to Alex and the Ilboru team for making my introduction to Tanzania so memorable!"
