"I booked the room to have a weekend with my children. I specifically went there because they had a pool. When I made the reservation, nothing was said to me. When I went in to check in, there was a sign that the pool was closed for inspection. I brought it up to the lady and she was very short with me and made me feel uncomfortable. I did not feel like I could ask to switch hotels due to the awkwardness of the conversation."

"The room was run down and dreary looking. They must be trying to cover something up because the smell of deodorizer was overwhelming. We had to check out and find another place to stay. It terrified me to arrive at the hotel to find that I needed a security code to gain entrance, a code that was buried deep within several looooong messages from the hotel. "The property is beautiful. Our room was lovely—very clean and comfortable. The seating in our room was perfect for reading, and the balcony an extra treat. Allen was so gracious and helpful. The location was great for dinner plans and a short easy drive to Churchill Downs. Breakfast was delicious—especially the biscuits and gravy. And, the young lady that served us breakfast was very nice and helpful. I’d recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone who is planning to spend time in...
