"We loved our stay here. We had our two teenage sons with us and the room was perfect. The staff was incredible- so helpful and answered all our questions. They called taxis for us, recommended delicious restaurants, and even stayed up for us to arrive nearly in the middle of the night. Each morning they had an amazing breakfast for our family, which was one of our favorite meals of the day. They would do a juice, fresh fruit, granola, and then would make toast or eggs if we wanted it. Safe...

"Very old colonial estate in central old town Cuenca. If you’re bothered by creaky wood floors and everything old and small rooms, this is not for you. But if you’re enchanted by the quaint setting, kind helpful staff and easy walking access to downtown Cuenca, it’s wonderful. Great price, safe and calm setting "

"Staff was lovely. So quiet! We walked to dinner and though it felt perfectly safe they sent a security guard along with us who then returned for our walk home. They even sent us with packed breakfasts before our early flight (which we didn’t even ask for!) Breakfast was lovely the day we were able to eat there too. "

"I only stayed there to sleep on my last night in Ecuador before getting on a plane very early the next morning. They were very hospitable, and the shuttle was there for me when I woke up. They even gave me a little knock on my hotel door (a minute before I was about to leave) to make sure I came downstairs to the taxi. Room was clean. Wifi worked. Can't comment on outside of building because I arrived and left in the dark."
