"Honestly rooms at the nugget are the best bang for the back! The restaurants are fantastic especially the oyster shooter bar, they're hot tub and swimming pool are better than the Atlantis casinos hot tubs swimming pool, and the nugget is in a better spot downtown but it's closer to other fun things to do. Not to mention they seem to be booking the greatest shows in Reno lately! The only downside is that the nugget Casino floor is still pretty smoky and dingy like an old school '80s casino. But you can always just go Gamble wherever your money takes you!"

"Room had broken hot water knob on sink and bathroom smelled of mildew and had a few ants. The ice machines on every floor of the Birch tower were out of order. Hanna's was disgusting and over priced. The buffet was overpriced and not worth the money. Not a lot of selection and had old deserts that were honestly the worst. Had an ok experience in the casino for up until the last night we stayed. The blackjack dealer they brought in on the $5 table was a real jerk. Not based on anything other than his attitude. Everyone was enjoying themselves and having a good time until this guy showed up. Very nasty to the pit boss and customers. Not respectful or decent in any way. Very condescending and rude. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy their vacation."

"A quirkily dated hotel — but spotlessly clean, with new carpet, mattress, and bedding. Great location. Wonderful staff. Definitely would stay again."

"Good location but elevators were an issue, especially during check out. We were waiting 10+ minutes multiple times and we wound up having to lug all of our luggage down 8 flights of stairs. Not sure if we will stay again, there isn't a great place to enter the hotel with your luggage, there are stairs and carpet which made it challenging. "
