It was old, but we had trouble getting in, no elevator ( which we knew), the room was unbelievably small, the beds were broken down (deflated), from people sitting on the sides. I had to use a blanket rolled up to support my back enough to sleep. Shower didn’t work—sprayed all over, etc.

La casa es muy antigua y hermosa y la atención muy amable y atenta. Deben mejorar la calefacción, estuvimos en diciembre y si no es porque nos dejaron cobijas acolchadas adicionales hubiéramos pasado frio.

Great location and service

Hotel is on the 4th floor (90 stairs up!) with no elevator, reception only open limited hours, room is small and poorly lit, walls and doors are paper-thin, and our shower screen fell apart. That said, the hotel is in a wonderful location just 2 minutes from the Campo and numerous restaurants and cafes, the rooms are clean, and Stefano was very patient with our poor Italian and was extremely helpful with local attractions, transport, and after-hours access. We enjoyed our stay and would probably return.

Pelo preço, é razoável.

Hotel bem localizado, porém muito antigo. No site não há a informação de que a recepção fica fechadas das 10:00 as 14:00, então se chegar esse horário, deverá aguardar do lado de fora. vale a pena se como eu ficar apenas um dia e também pela localização.

Well located hotel

Great location near Il Campo. The staff were very friendly and helpful in recommending places to see and eat. The room was a bit basic but still comfortable. Thanks!

Convenient location close to the centre of Siena. A daunting climb up four flights of stairs and rather inconvenient to have to check in before 5.30pm. Also no coffee facilities so going out for coffee in the morning was a pain because of the long climb back to the room. But a nice clean room with good shower and nice view.

Eravamo a Siena per un weekend io e il mio ragazzo. Posizione dell'albergo comodissima per muoversi all'interno della città e visitare i maggiori luoghi turistici. Zona molto tranquilla dietro Piazza del Campo. Stanza accogliente e pulita, così com'era molto pulito anche il bagno. Confortevole e ideale per trascorrere un fine settimana. Personale molto cortese e disponibile.

Não oferece serviços, o quarto não foi limpo nem as toalhas trocadas, o ponto positivo é a localização, ficamos bem no centro histórico de onde fizemos tudo a pé, nos sentimos em casa no quarto, que possui uma pequena sacada com mesa e cadeira, onde ficamos a noite e tomamos um bom vinho.

Convenient, but with limitations.

Explicit directions are REQUIRED. After the initial 70+ steps to the 4th+ floor [no elevator], the check-in and staff are wonderful and friendly. Minor maintenance is required [a knob here, a latch there], but otherwise a comfortable and pleasant room for the stay. My room had a view of the Bell Tower at Piazza del Campo... but, with that comes the hourly reminder of the time [NO respite ... every hour, every day]. Even though the windows are not 'modernized', they kept out most of the neighborhood noise. However, since there's only a fan [no A/C], when windows are open you can hear the raucous [no disrespect] gaffaws and laughs and cheers of the neighbors. The hotel location is superb (even if on a smaller/side street, it's shielded from all the shop noise).

好感の持てるホテルです。

スタッフは明るくフレンドリーで親切です。 ホテルは4階にあります。 エレベーターはありません。 荷物がある方は、滑車のような物がありましたので、それで運んでもらえると思います。 ベランダ付きの部屋を希望したのですが、無かったらしく、代わりに塔が見える部屋にしてくれました。満足しています。 またシエナに来たら泊まりたいと思います。

A very convenient place. Good value.

The service was mostly very helpful but it was very unfortunate that no one was present at reception when we arrived. We were let in by other guests and only a phone call after 30 minutes enabled us to get our room key. Our room was ok. It was strange that the art in it was made up of only empty picture frames. Modern art perhaps?

La camera era tenuta molto bene e pulitissima, il personale molto gentile e ci siamo trovati bene forse l'unica nota negativa sono le scale da fare per arrivare al piano per il resto lo consigliamo

Mucho ruido de lo que parece ser una caldera que nos impidió dormir. para llegar à las habitaciones hay que subir 4 pisos sin ascensor. El wifi no funcionaba en la habitación. eso si el personal es muy simpático y la ubicación es ideal.

アットホームなホテル

フロントの方は何でも対応してくれ、とても親切でした。きめ細やかなサービスをしてくれ、快適に過ごすことができました。カンポ広場に近く、なにをするにも便利な場所でした。気になる点として、一階の電気錠が壊れたこと、四階まで荷物を運ぶことで、それも含めて、自分の家のような気がして、わたしには心地よかった。

very secure location

Need 3 keys to get to your room--- safer than most hotels! Gentleman at the desk knows English well, very friendly and helpful, let us leave our luggage in the room early so we could explore. Free tea in lobby. Small quiet hotel with small number of rooms on the top floor above residences. If you don't like exercise, you won't like going up stairs. Interesting towels-- more like linen. Awesomely close to Il Campo for a great price!

3 days, interested primarily in seeing Sienese art, and Centrale was a well-located, comfortable, budget hotel with an extremely sweet and helpful fellow who manned the front desk. Nice light, views of rooftops and swallows.

Decent hotel near Siena's Compo

Small hotel with rooms on 4th floor walk-up in heart of old Siena. Hard bed, small clean bathroom, no A/C. Staff was very friendly, and helpful. No breakfast service.
