New place in Kemerovo
#Adventure Contest Sacred shaman poles on Olkhon Island, called the heart of Lake Baikal. The Shaman Rock is one of the nine most holy places in Asia. 13 totem poles stand tall at the entrance, guarding the sacred rock, representing the 13 deities of Olkhon and bearing colorful ribbons, known as ‘Khadag’, placed by pilgrims. The five colors symbolize different aspects of the environment. Blue for the eternal sky, green for the earth, yellow for religion, red for fire, white for milk.

Well liked for its museums and monuments, Novosibirsk City Centre is worth a visit. Check out the variety of things to see and do like Lenin Square and Novosibirsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, and jump on the metro at Sibirskaya Station to get around the city.
