"Nice hotel, but with room for improvement.
The hotel itself is nice, clean and mostly renovated. The facilities are good and the nearby water park is a great bonus, especially for families. However, Albania is still a country in development, which becomes very noticeable once you leave the resort. The hotel area is clean, but outside there is rubbish almost everywhere, including along the seaside promenade.
Breakfast offers a good variety and the fact that it is similar every day was not a major issue. The selection of cheeses is excellent, but unfortunately they are not refreshed regularly, so they are often dry and not very appetizing.
The hotel beach is okay and, compared with other beaches nearby, actually looks very clean. Still, it could benefit from more frequent cleaning, as cigarette butts can easily be easily found.
Staff were mixed. In the Taverna, service was often not very friendly and staff did not always seem focused on customers. Housekeeping was also inconsistent. We had to ask three times to have our room cleaned, despite leaving the cleaning sign on the door from the morning.
Overall, a nice hotel with good facilities and a decent beach, but service, housekeeping and some food-quality details could definitely be improved."
