"Excellent Hotel and great staff. The breakfast buffet was the best I have ever had. When you turn left out of the property and take the Moat Garden walk to the Castle it is so peaceful and quiet. The JR bus is a couple blocks away and takes you to all the sightseeing spots and train station and is the included in your rail pass ,if you have it. My daughter already asked when are we coming back. "

"Fantastic. First thing we noticed was no obvious signage on the hotel. Once inside you are asked to remove your shoes and put them in a locker. Rooms are perfect, very cumfortable beds and very quiet. The whole place has a sense of serenity. The communal baths were popular even yhough we did not use them. "

"The hotel is only 5-minute walk from the Castle park. We really enjoyed Sakura blossoms at the park. The breakfast at the hotel was so good; it was the best from our experience staying in many hotel in Japan. The room was spacious with the Japanese garden view.
