"We liked the people. We enjoyed dinner 2 nights at the bar downstairs. The rooms were very spacious. I loved the artificially lit fireplace, but only one side worked. Our biggest complaint was the terrible mattress! It was too soft with significant dips. We had to put towels underneath the mattress cover to add back support , Sadly, because of this we will not return."

"Older hotel, but it’s been updated and the room was clean. Beds were comfy. No real complaints there. When we first walked in, the room felt super humid, which was strange because the A/C was already running. Not sure what was up with that, but it was definitely noticeable. The bathroom didn’t have a fan or vent, which isn’t great, and the shower had one of those low-flow heads that just kind of trickles on you. Breakfast was solid though. Pretty typical hotel stuff, eggs, sausage, biscuits...

"Me and my family had a one night great stay with the exception on the shower water pressure. The pressure was so forceful that it hurts your body. Other than that it was a great stay."

"This is an older motel that when speaking with the lady at the desk said was just acquired by a new owner last fall. They have done a lot of work to the rooms and exterior of the building with all new everything in the rooms. It is an older place but it being brought up to modern standards and amenities. They are still in the process of getting their vintage sign restored and a few exterior upgrades but I would highly recommend. Has the potential to be one of the nicest motels in the Luray area....

"While everything was clean and neat, our room had a lot of damage to the furniture. The drawers when closed would slide back open and had damage inside the drawer. The windows were missing locks and one wouldn't fully shut due to missing hardware. Everything else about the stay was perfect, the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and they were actively restocking it throughout the morning"
