"Excellent old school hotel. Fully refurbished on the inside with a wonderful, huge open lobby space. The outside facilities need a bit of a paint job maybe (also the inside roof), but otherwise, a great place to stay. Breakfast is very nice, there is a great lap pool in addition to a normal pool, an excellent fully equipped gym (one of the best I've seen in hotels), and some nice dining options. "

"My family and I recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt Muscat and it was a great experience! It was our first family trip after having our baby and the staff was AMAZING! Everyone was so kind and accommodating. The hotel is very charming and welcoming. You can tell that it is a bit older but not in a negative way. All facilities were clean and easy to use. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family! "

"It's a nice small hotel just next to the beach. We found the staff friendly and helpful (especially Stanley at breakfast), our room was big, a bit tired looking but clean, mattress was quite hard though. The location was great- there were quite a few restaurants nearby which helps if you don't have a car. Breakfast was very tasty, the buffet not very elaborate but you could order something different every day. Overall I would recommend the hotel, you could see that the staff care about guests...

"Hotel is very old and the room condition is bad. Wifi is only accessible on the ground floor and not the room.Towel was torn and stained. Living Room aircon couldn't stay on and kept shutting off. Only saving grace is the friendly staff in the hotel and location is near the beach."
