"This was a great location and fairly priced. The hosts go out of their way to provide extras like each towels. Public transportation to downtown Christchurch and airport is about 1 block away and runs every 15 minutes until late. There are lots of restaurants nearby along with grocery, pharmacy, and coffee shops. "

Worst of all was the club lounge - terrible location and atmosphere, and a complete waste of money unless you're there only for the free evening drinks. "Located at the former University of Canterbury, the refurbished rooms are in an old gray brick building. Located in east walking distance to downtown and across the street from the Botanical Garden, it was ideal for our brief stay in Christchurch. Staff was helpful. No breakfast but there are places close by. May be challenging for people with special needs (walking issues) as there are stairs throughout. That said, they may have accommodation available."
