Could not praise the breakfast more highly It was amazing! Loads of fresh fruit, breads and pastries not to mention the extensive selection of cheeses made to order omelettes and American pancakes. Staff were friendly even at 7 in the morning.

Interior was nice Shower was very low in pressure, TV had many channels that don't work at all and many that have rubbish reception. (An engineer checked it out twice) Mixture of a cabling problem and an inability to retune the TV. (Poor) The room said it had aircon but on the second day onwards it got very warm and after speaking to the reception twice they only do heating at this time of year and so no real aircon. (Very poor not as described and not helpful).

The hotel is super outdated for the price you pay. The first room was dirty so we had to change. One lift and a half that allows 4 people at the time for 300 rooms, is not convenient as you end up spending 10-15 minutes for the lift sometimes. The bed is small and there are no plugs near it.

Disappointing experience. A horrendous in-room dining experience - food served in cardboard boxes! and an overpriced New Year's Eve party... The rooms were expensive, a little dated. Location was fine. Parking was really terrible (old & dirty) but it doesn't belong to the hotel. Breakfast was good, service was nice, but there's too many options around, to recommend this place given the shortfalls.

Located within easy walking distance of the town bars and restaurants. Friendly staff happy to help Hotel clean and in good repair Only 2 lifts working as 2 undergoing repair so at times a longer wait Breakfast good but in a very small area which became congested at times Appears that breakfast Cava for Buck fizz has now ceased which was a lovely holiday treat in Melia hotels.

Our [premium room] stay was marred by a misunderstanding about breakfast. We were TOLD at check-in that breakfast was included so as a result we availed of it, although we are not big breakfast eaters [1 coffee & croissant / 1 juice & fruit; sometimes just coffee]. On check-out, we were charged €168 for breakfasts. I had no proof from my expedia invoice that B was included, and the lady who checked us in was not on duty. All I could do was [by subtracting the cost of our flights from the Expedia total] show that the cost to us of the hotel was on a par with the hotel's "no refund - breakfast included" price, but [understandably perhaps] they would not accept that. I should have screenshot each page of the expedia booking process, so it's partly my own fault, but we would not have had hotel breakfasts had we not been told it was included. We would have had coffee and a pastry in the city. Lots of other positives about the hotel although the pool and sundeck is in the hotel shadow until 1100 so sunbathing is during the hot midday rather than early morning. Lovely poolside bar and facilities. Spotlessly clean decking although the pool needs an robotic cleaner top prevent mould etc. All staff are VERY nice. It's a 20 min walk into the centre [cathedral, say], but a nice walk and we are 'walkers'. Tram stop is close enough [5-7 mins walk] if needed. Might stay here again although it's expensive even in late Sept. Just need to be very careful about booking etc!

This is a nice hotel with clear pros and cons. Pros- clean room, nice bathroom and shower, great view, good wifi, AC was QUIET and efficient. Pool and pool bar were wonderful. Great buffet breakfast. Cons-elevators were slow and always packed. Almost everyone used the poorly lit stairwell. The bed was hard as a rock, like sleeping on your dining room table with a sheet. The parking lot is VERY low and tight. We rented a Ford Puma and it was hard to make the turns. Don't even think about parking a family sized vehicle here. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

The pool area is beautiful, great view from pool of palace. Pool bar with water misters, pool towels (so no fighting for a sunbed) but plenty of them and they had lovely thick padding. Very helpful polite staff. Lovely rooms. We had a kettle but no coffee, however there is room service and the mini bar is resonably priced. We only booked a queen room which was beautiful but had no dressing table so I really missed having an area to put makeup, perfume, glasses etc. Next time I will need to upgrade. 30 minute walk into town or taxis are only €5 This is our second time visiting this hotel and will definitely stay here again if back in Seville.
