It was a lovely hotel except for the fact there were renovations in the hotel. On 2 mornings the banging started at 8am & on the 3rd morning, at 7:20am. It was also impossible to rest during the day as the banging & drilling continued. I think we should have been given this information on booking and had the choice to choose an alternative.
The roof-top bar was a real bonus and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Super stay! Had a lovely (VIP perk) glass of vino tinto on their rooftop which has a spectacular view. Hotel is charming and quirky. Room was basic but good size bathroom and quiet. Breakfast good. Staff was excellent. Location super. I would recommend for an interesting, not luxury but comfortable stay in the old centre.
The hotel was very quirky which was lovely. Situated in old town full of character. Staff were friendly and helpful, in particular Jenny who checked us in, helped with directions to places and spoke English far better than we did Spanish. The one thing that we would have liked was tea/coffee making facilities.
Overall an enjoyable stay in a beautiful city.

Only warm in the room. Door is open to outside air on the 1st floor leaving the hallway cold. You have to get dressed to go down for breakfast. No parking near hotel. Did not enjoy.
It is a very old structure and the room a little uncomfortable. However, the location, the staff and the treatment were great. It is very walkable, close to many of the most popular places and around good dining options.

Great location near the cathedral. Easily walkable to many of the main attractions and lots of bars, restaurants etc. Roof top bar and restaurant with excellent views. Didn’t eat there but drinks service was good. All the staff were very helpful and spoke good English. It is an old convent so dont expect modern and plush. The rooms were a decent size, though I believe not all have external windows. I did have issues with getting hot water for a shower. The first room I had I gave up after about 30 minutes of running the tap and had a cold shower. I did then get offered a different room. However it still took a while and I felt bad for running the tap for so long and wasting so much water. It may be better for the hotel to install local electric shower units. Considering its location and price of other hotels in the area it was reasonably priced and ideal for a short stay.
The area was very central and very vibrant. There was a good vibe throughout the entire day morning, day and night. Seville main attractions were very close by. Really nice hotel and the staff was so friendly and helpful.
Good location. Beautiful historic building. Beautiful historical furniture. Good service.
The room has no windows, hard to wake up naturally in time, had to use the alarm clock, and it is not the most pleasant way to wake up.
Very hard to access with a car. Had to park over 1km away. Room was old and bed uncomfortable. Very noisy room. You could listen to the neihhbours clearly. Terrible staff service. Would not recommed this hotel at all as there are many alternatives in Seville.

Atentamente. Dep. Recepción Hotel Convento la Gloria.
I loved the place, the decoration, the staff and the surroundings; even though the first room I got had a super pretty antique headboard, the matress was very unconfortable; but next day, they changed my room and gave me a different one with a bigger bed and the same super view of the Giralda. I will come back for sure.

Good morning dear, thank you for your comment and your contribution to making our hotel a better place. If you had a problem with something in the room, you could have told us so we could give you a solution right away. In fact, the reception staff asked what was going on every time you went downstairs and we were not notified of anything, they told us that everything was fine. .Likewise, we are sorry that our help was not enough, however we gave you maps of Seville, flyers of all the companies that you requested and we placed you on the map where you had to go for each site that you needed as well as advice on visiting hours . We also asked him every day how everything was going since the reception staff is known for trying to do their best with customers.Lastly, tell him that, as we have explained, this is a hotel that was a 15th century convent, so it does have windows but it faces an internal patio since it is the structure of the convents of that century. We hope to see you another time and if you have any questions or problems, let us know for the best possible help. Thanks and best regards,Azahara Puelles. This hotel is absolute gem in heart of Seville everything was near by and easily walkable.
As it's in center it's old building with lots of character so I enjoyed ambient of traditional Seville that I really liked.
Check in was smooth and very friendly, welcoming and hospitable receptionist who give me lots of information about Seville as well as very good map that I was using while was in Seville as point of reference to marc places that I visited.
Only reason I didn't give excellent property condition and facilities was wrong info about hotel here that stated that iron is available in request however when I've asked on reception they said they don't give that any longer and offered me laundry services that was €4-€9 per peace of clothing which I was not happy about, If I knew about it I would have brought my travel iron and wouldn't have no issue with it. I suggest to Hotel and Expedia to amend that information so future travelers don't have issue in future.- otherwise very clean and warm homey property.
As solo traveler I felt very safe in hotel and surroundings as well to walk around everywhere. Roof terrace bar is Magical with stunning view of Cathedral with settle music in background , friendly and hospitable waiter - all together very nice atmosphere to finish your day.
Breakfast was very nice and filling and waiter was friendly.

I really wanted to rate this hotel higher as it’s a great location and cutely decorated everywhere on the interior. However the bed was very hard and uncomfortable and the room smelled like cat pee every time I turned the a/c on. Very unpleasant inside my individual room.

Good afternoon dear,I'm sorry if the air and bed were not to her liking, but if she had told us we would have tried to give her a solution so that she was satisfied. On the day of her departure, we checked the room and the air did not smell bad, just a bit musty, typical of some air conditions, which we have already resolved. If she had told us, we would have put a remedy.Next time we would like you to inform us so that we can help you as much as possible. Thanks and best regards,HOTEL CONVENTO LA GLORIA
As advertised many rooms look over internal courtyards so you have no view and little daylight. Rooms are dated but comfy. Location is great and roof top bar is nice, although staff up there weren’t great, mire time chatting than serving customers
The location was excellent. Food at the hotel was excellent too. Staff was kind and helpful. The bulding is an old construction, so charming but noises from other rooms or downstairs were penetrating through the walls. In general. I had a wonderful experience in Seville.
Very charming place. Although extremely loud on Saturday night until midnight due to terrace bar. Room is not “sound proof”. However the terrace bar is also a lovely spot to watch the sunset. No air conditioning, hot in room. I think they turn it on later but this was disappointing.

Good afternoon dear,Thank you very much for having trusted us.We appreciate your constructive feedback.Although I have to tell you that all rooms have air conditioning. You could turn it on yourself whenever you wanted, and if you didn't know you could ask for help at reception.Thank you and best regards!HOTEL CONVENTO LA GLORIA
The staff at reception were helpful and cheerful. The rooms were well cleaned. I wished I had booked a larger room though. The roof top bar was a splendid place to watch the sun go down.
The property was quaint and interesting. It was convenient to stores and restaurants. It was impossible to get to. We parked our car in one of the few decks we could find and took a cab to hotel. The cab driver was not happy to take but we tipped him well and thanked him.
Amazingly helpful staff and so friendly. Only downside was no breakfast option as the restaurant joined on to the hotel is seperate

Even though it was supposed to have air conditioning it didn’t. They said that the system was still on heating. The only way to cool the room was to open the window to the music from the dance club and people in the hallway.
This is an old hotel that was once used as a convent so it was amazing to stay here, even a chandelier in our room. The staff were all helpful & friendly & spoke English really well. The area in the old part of town was 2 minutes walk to the cathedral & really good restaurants. We walked everywhere & loved our stay here. Thank you
Hotel very nice decorated like antique museum. Location very good. Just our room 103 shouldn’t be given to anyone. It’s very loud night time. We couldn’t get sleep. No rest.
And it’s should be mentioned on website about it.
We had the larger room but it was located right above the coffee shop so it made for a very noisy early morning as the cook prepared for the morning breakfast. Just know you will sleep okay if you close the bathroom door to block the outside noise at night. The room was comfortable and the view from our balcony was awesome... saw the tip of the cathedral. There is also a rooftop bar that has a great view of the cathedral. I did not appreciate the service at the rooftop bar as the staff were standoffish and catered to the young locals. You would think that preference would be given to the residents but alas no. On our last night, we were denied a table even though there were clearly empty tables available, and we had dined there the previous two nights. Just know the rooftop is a mixed bag depending on the staff. Don't bother tipping as it didn't make a difference on the service provided. I will say that the staff at the hotel were nice. Breakfast is pricey at the coffee shop.
This hotel is nestled in the winding streets of Seville. It is very central to the top sights and the rooftop restaurant has a stunning view where you can spend hours enjoying the night looking at the cathedral and plaza d’España lit up at night.
Had a very lovely stay at the hotel. Room basic (which we didn’t mind) and clean. Location of the hotel was fantastic as you’re right in the middle of the old town so very close to all the tapas bars and cathedral. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Granted it is an antique ambiance, but the feeling in the room is like a dungeon, bedspread and curtains depressing and mattress too hard. Bathroom as comfortable but needed shelf or place to put toiletries.
Quirky hotel tucked away in the heart of the Santa Cruz district. Beautifully decorated and comfortable with very friendly snd helpful staff. The rooms are small but I guess this is to be expected from an old convent. We had no proper window, which was a surprise, just a hatch that opened into an indoor courtyard but we saw this as part of the quirkiness of the whole place. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be more than happy to stay there again.
The hotel is beautiful.
Hard to find but is a tresure.
Ana at front desk is 5 Star . Amazing.
Carmen and the guys at the restaurant too.
My room was beautiful and the art all around the building is unbelievable
