"To be fair, this once elegant property is in a great location and the breakfast buffet & morning restaurant staff were excellent. Also, we were there in the middle of a severe heat wave, so staff and systems were strained to the max. Housekeeping staff were VERY NICE, but Front Desk - not so much. "Charming hotel in the perfect location! Will dream of coming back! The view out of our window was the papal palace. The quietest hotel room I have ever stayed in even though it is city center. I am sure that was because of the cut stone walls. The breakfast buffet was good and worth the price. But there are plenty of dining options within easy walking. Our train was leaving later in the day so they were happy to hold our luggage after we checked out. Our stay really was perfect!"

"This hotel was in a perfect location, very close to restaurants, shops and sight seeing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only thing we saw as a negative was the shower. While being very clean, lots of hot water etc. it is extremely slippery and I mean like an ice skating rink when wet. So, I caution hang on when stepping in and don't move around too much once inside."
