"The room was ok , very small and hardly anywhere to put clothes so had to keep our clothes in our bags . NO WATER given daily despite being told not to use the tap water . "Tiny room, not able to open 2 suitcases. Arrogant staff, overpriced beach services. Sun beds was made available fron 07.00-13.30 at 30 EUR and from 13.30-19.00 for 50 EUR. I.e. Not possible to rent for a day. Very few sun beds so this stay ay a mediocre hotel became very expensive. We were scammed in the restaurant, paid by card 120 EUR, after pin code they claimed that transaction did no go through, even though I showed it on the Mastercard app. Ended in a conflict, and I had to pay also...

Smaragdi Hotel

"We loved Sifnos! It's an extremely charming island with beautiful villages, beaches, and an authentic Cycladic atmosphere. We stayed in Artenemos in Smaragdi Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was peaceful and quiet, with excellent breakfasts each morning and a staff that was consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Its location was also very convenient, just steps from a bus stop. We highly recommend using the bus system to explore Sifnos. It was easy, reliable, and made it simple to get around the entire island without a car. Our Cycladic cave-style room was a highlight of the stay. We loved the unique design, along with the private patio and cool plunge pool, which were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Overall, a fantastic stay on a truly special island."

"A lovely hotel with very well maintained gardens. They do offer free of charge collection and delivery from the port(they have asked Hotels.com to say this in text many times but it still not advertised) which brilliant. Rooms are lovely and clean. Lovely soft towels and good quality bed linen. The beach is tight in front of the hotel. You can walk too the port along the beach and up some steps and takes about 15 minutes. Excellent beach bar. The staff are very helpful. A lovely hotel."

"A very nice, family run private hotel with friendly owners. Old school with really good upgraded bath rooms. Close to the beach and ten minutes walk to the port. Breakfast had pretty much most things you might want. And get this - a 24 hour honesty bar! A full bar, take what you need and leave whatever you think is fair. That tells you everything about the way they run the hotel. Μπράβο!"

"Stamna is a truly exceptional hotel. It was the perfect base for a week in Sifnos, close to many restaurants, easy to access nearby beaches and most of the Sifnos trails. The hotel is beautifully designed, really quiet, has great views and has a lovely pool. The restaurant food was also delicious. The owners and all staff were very friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend Stamna."

"This one-year old, beautifully appointed property is first rate. Its location is on the shore across the bay from the ferry port in Serifos port town Kamari with gorgeous views of the town, mountains and sea. If you have a car and plan to explore Serifos this place is ideal. A nice parking lot with a space reserved for your suite. The suites themselves are perfectly designed and executed. The Junior Suite I occupied had a private plunge pool, private patio - both with great view plus sun and shade. The room had AC ( did not need), overhead fan, sliding door to pool, automated black out curtain, built in phone chargers, full kitchen, separate shower, separate toilet (with laundry), large TV and the right storage space. And the price was very competitive."
