Possibly because I booked through Expedia, but that shouldn't be my problem, and it really annoyed me. Not a word of apology from the host, again, might be language barrier, but does not show them in the best light. "Martina and Alessandro were wonderful hosts. friendly helpful and full of information about the surrounding area. The rooms were beautifully designed in keeping with the age of the building with lovely little details. Breakfast was fresh every day with plenty of local produce. "Loved my stay at B&B Villa Zola. The views were amazing, the suite, amenities and attention to detail above par and much more than I expected. Private Terrace with a view to the sea! Absolutely wonderful stay. Antonio is a thoughtful and welcoming host. I only wish I could have stayed longer than 3 nights. The villa is located in a peaceful neighbourhood, breakfasts were plentiful. What more can I say, than 5 star service and accommodation! "

"The property is exceptional and the gardens are truly wonderful. Slight issue in travelling to the property, which took over 5 hours on public transport. As a tourist, it was impossible to provide an accurate arrival time which i estimated going on the distance that i needed to travel. Check out is at 10.30am and having been told twice, a little to keen on actually getting rid of guests. I did vacate the room at 10.30 and was stood outside smoking a cigarette and texting my sister when i was...

"The payment process. I had to ring up expedia to clarify. It seemed like i was been charged by the property upon arrival. By ringing expedia they were able to find out that they were charging the expedia virtual card. There was no need for the property to have me sit there while the virtual card was been charged. They should have done that either before i arrived or after i left. They also made a big deal of cleaning the apartment before we left but they did not have adequate cleaning supplies...

"Very good apartment. Very clean with very good aircon and WiFi only negative was stairs to bedroom level rather steep. Right in the centre of Marina area and spoilt for choice with number of restaurants. Rail station a few minutes walk and short bus ride to Poetto Beach. Would highly recommend if visiting Cagliari"
