It’s well located. Myeongdong metro station is right next to the hotel. The hotel had lockers which was very convenient. It would be nice if the hotel had a microwave and a vending machine with snacks.

It depends on who your front desk server is. I had someone beside me check in almost the same time as I did and same class of room as mine. He was able to have early check in at no extra charge. My front desk server seemed new and inflexible. She insisted on the charge and also refused to allow me a complimentary late check out (by an hour). I had to borrow a wheelchair and returned it to her personally some nights later. It is likely she didnt make a record of the return as I was asked if the chair was returned the following day. Pity the 'rigid, by the book' server doesnt maintain her standard of rigidity both towards guests and inwards towards her own record keeping. Feels odd for some guests to not be charged whilst at the same time a different staff is charging me for checking in 1.5hrs earlier.

The Myongdong area is full of life shopping and street food. It's packed and super noisy but it's a fun area. The Migliore Hotel is awful overall though. We had a suite with a beautiful view of the Seoul N Tower. But there's no outlets near the bed. The coax cable for the TVs are frayed, there's stains on the walls and carpets and the constant hum of the elevator next to the room. There's no desk for work or study either. The bed is really firm with crinkly sheets that somehow prove to be noisy. A/C is centrally operated, no individual control in the room. No restaurant, gym, or lounge, (things I'd expect from a hotel claiming to be 4 stars). There's only wicker seats in the lobby hidden behind a row of industrial lockers. Rude staff, dirty overall and our room smelled funky. Would absolutely not recommend this hotel.

I stay here yearly. Their master control switch has been an issue. Keeps beeping in middle of nite n turns on room lights suddenly. Reception was informed twice n repairs if done, failed. We stayed 14 nites. Turned on switch to indicate room was ready to be cleaned n the switch jumped to Do Not Disturb while we were out so room wasn’t cleaned. (For those who jump at sounds n lights turning on by itself when u are sleeping, this might cause distress) We were told em only has 2 lights, abv dresser n bed. Foyer sensor lights don’t work but I’ve seen other rooms with it. Room is quite dark. There is also a lamp above wardrobe but since it doesn’t work too. Heater wasn’t hot enough for us so they had to give us an external heater in an already packed n small room. What made it worse is at -17degreeC, the window had a small draft so room was colder than normal. The chambermaids were inconsistent so only 1 gave us a towel for the floor. Instant coffee pkts were only provided on 3-4 days of my 14 nites. Bath area was a sit down bath so there is a step in the tub which makes the tub v small if you wanted to stand n shower. Door to bath narrowly goes past toilet bowl so it’s a tight space. What makes things a little better is the convenient location to subway n taxi. Also a convenience store couple units down n Isaac Toast.

It was ok, good price for the area and hotel standard ok. Be warned lots of work being done on the hotel bottom 2 floors. Also the name iis only 1 if 2 hotels as seems 2 manage the building?

Nice solid hotel, lots of work going on first and second floors. It shares the building with another hotel, different floors check in. Be aware, always a 3pm Check in. Decent price compared other hotels in that area of similar standard.

Prime location above Myeongsong metro station. Easy access to everywhere. However, the hotel is very strange. They said they could not issue invoice, even though I paid to them directly, not through Expedia. I stayed there for business purpose; so, this is not helpful at all. I can not recommend to anyone with that. Also, no laundry services, which is very minus. Check-in staffs is still, no smiles and blunts business like. It makes me wonder whether they are looking at us as customers or just doing the routine check-in and -out process. With just a little smile, this unpleasant experience would change. Cleaning staffs are very kind and I appreciate their quick cleaning and fulfilment of amenities. Overall, if you want to stay close to the shopping district, this is it, but don’t expect the friendly smiles from this place AND this is not the place since the invoice can not be issued….

Booked the hotel as it is right next to the metro and plenty of taxis. Also, it has the Japanese style bidet which was an added comfort. The down side is that if you end up staying on one end of the hotel, u end up walking the entire length of he corridor each time to get to the lift (important info for guests with mobility issues). As for amenities, the hotel doesn’t have any restaurant or cafe lounge. It is our second time staying here though so it is within our expectation.

Great location but room a bit small for 20sqm. Aircon is central and cannot be controlled. Room has only 1 power point for charging e-accessories. Decently clean rooms unlike some other reviews that said it was dated. Would stay again

the property was in a great location, this makes up for the not so nice facility. seems like they need to upgrade everything. staff was friendly though and I hated the bathroom set up being so close to the door and limited space. hotel has potential, but their location and friendly staff is the best thing going for them.

The hotel is conveniently located at the start of Myeongdong Street, and going back to the hotel was simple. Lots of food around that opens until 10pm or so. To me, the tourist attractions were mainly on the green metro line not the blue one, where Myeongdong is lo cated, so Myeongdong station wasn't actually that convenient for my travels. The hotel itself was just a basic hotel. It felt cramped compared to the photos and was very worn out and old inside. Heating wasn't strong and I requested for a portable heater. Unfortunately, the plug and socket sparked and caused me to panic. Staff did their best to handle it (with an electrician), but there were no rooms available to change so I had to live a little in fear for my last 2 days. Bidet available for toilet, hot water was good. However, barely any surface space for items / toiletries, and TV cables prevent the curtains from closing fully. Note there is no 24hours room service, only in the morning. You can still collect towels and toiletries from the counter. Free luggage lockers available for you before u check in and after you check out for 8hrs, so I really appreciated that.

Disappointing stay of 6 days for the price I paid (average of US$180 per day). It was too warm inside. There’s no way to control the temperature. There were no convenience outlets close to the beds. So I could not use my mobile phone while charging. Pillows were too thin. Bed frame was made of hard wood. I bumped my leg and it hurt. Towels were worn out and needed to be replaced. You could not use the faucet in the tub. Only the shower head. P

Like this hotel location. It’s just at Myeongdong station (exit 5) & roadside. Easier allow taxi to drop traveller with big luggage. Appreciate to upgrade my room & nice view (facing Seoul Tower). Myeongdong street is just outside the hotel. Very convenient.

The location is the strength of this hotel. The train station and the myeongdong market are right at the door step. Very convenient. On the other hand, it might has now come to the time to renovate a bit? This is my second time with this hotel in less than 5 years and things are looking worn out to me. Overall I was still happy with my stay but wouldnt lie that I might try elsewhere as well, as many pleasant hotels are nearby.

Very easy access to train and shopping . More can be improved like room heating and access to the lift lobby long the main Myeongdong street is closed around 10pm , so have to access by the main lift.
