Overall the property is nice, but could use a re-fresh and some renovation. Everything appears to be a little dated in the common areas (couches, carpet, rugs, etc) The staff is incredibly friendly, polite and helpful and the best part of the stay.

Enjoyed hot spring even for a short visit.
I stayed by myself for a business. The food was great, room was very clean, spa was so relaxing. I would stay there again!

Perfect stay in “Hidden Japan”
Really nice onsen hotel in a rather remote area of Japan. Typical Japanese hospitality, where everybody went out of their way to do their absolutely best

Spend more time Sendai
From the moment we walked to the door someone was already running to our aid to help with the luggage. This treatment continued during our whole stay, everyone went out of their way to make us feel special. The hot springs and massage were the ultimate in relaxation. We found the food outstanding. To get the most out of your stay you must share a song on the karaoke! This was the most relaxing and fun time of our trip to Japan. My only regret was that we did not spend more time in Sendai.

Very upscale
Rather like taking a Ryokan experience and superimposing a luxury spa. We did not even manage to get our bags into the entry without having a young attendant in kimono insist upon her loading them into a luggage cart and bringing them inside for us. Staff had very little English but made every effort to make our sign-in seamless. We had a traditional tatami room, which was more like a small house in scale. The onsen experience was delightful. Breakfast and dinners we took in the Japanese restaurant, all top quality. We were the only non-Japanese guests (at least, we never saw any others). Our room had traditional floor seating but also a sitting area next to the balcony with regular chairs/table, lovely view and very quiet (at least until the buses started their motors in the morning).

old style Japanese Onsen ryokan with huge baths.
Comfortable relaxed stay I enjoyed. Only 25minutes driving frm Sendai.

温泉のロッカーが寒かった。 部屋の空調か暑くて調整出来なかったのが残念。 他は温泉も部屋も良くて、サービスも良くて、還暦お祝い旅行のちゃんちゃんことケーキの準備、食事は離乳食の用意もあって、最高でした。

友人のお誕生日のお祝いで利用させて頂きました。フロントスタッフの方、レストランスタッフの方皆さんとても親切です。ただ、お食事は残念でした。保温機能が弱くお料理が冷めているものが多かったです。特にライブ演出のある牛タンはせっかくの仙台牛タンにも関わらずお世辞にも美味しいとは言えないものでした。 お部屋はすごく綺麗で、お誕生日ケーキの手配・設置も滞りなく行ってくれたので、余計にお食事が本当に残念です。

オールインクルーシブで好きなときに好きなものを選んで頂くことができ、夜食も刺激が強すぎないカレーうどんと身体に優しいチョイス。客室が多いのでラウンジも混雑するのかと心配しましたが、問題なく家族でゆっくりと堪能できました。バイキングも食べきれないほどの種類があり、一つ一つが丁寧に提供されていました。また宿泊したいお宿です。

両親と叔母と宿泊しました。 ベッドの部屋にしましたが、くつろぐスペースがなくて残念でした。ベッドサイドテーブルもあるとよかったです。レストランの席は入り口を案内されたので高齢者には風がきて寒かったです。 オールインクルーシブや温泉、浴衣、夜食、マッサージなどは楽しめました。

ビール良かったです。夕食の温かい食べ物を乗せるお皿が温かいともっとよかったです。 部屋でコーヒーが飲めるといいですね。 夜の焚き火が気づいたら終わっていたので残念でした。 お部屋、浴衣、お風呂、リファシャワーヘッド、タオル、アメニティ類、良かったです。

ホテルはリニューアルされ新しくなってました。結構宿泊者が多かったです。オールインクルーシブの無料サービスの一つ、無重力マッサージ機を使おうとしても常に使われていて利用出来ない状況がありました。あと部屋やお風呂場に時計が無かったので、現在の時間を知りたいときに少し不便さを感じました。お風呂やバイキングなど、全体的には満足した1泊2日でした。

YouTubeで見たらバイキングの凄さに即予約しました　実際行ってみたらかなり料理が違ってて聞いてみたらその時々で料理は変わりますとの事　全く普通のバイキングにガッカリでした 滞在中飲み放題はとても良かったですがバイキングに期待はしない方が良いです　事前にYouTubeで見てから行ったので鉄板で料理を温めたり出来る事は予習してましたがそうでなければ何の説明も無いしピタリ90分で退出だし バイキングを楽しみに連れて行ったのにガッカリの宿泊でした　部屋やお風呂は普通に良かったです　期待が大きすぎました
