The room smelled like cigarette smoke. I was going to call the front desk from the room phone to let them know, but there was no room phone. I googled for the hotel phone number, but the first 2 times I got transferred to a reservations line. 3rd time I reached front desk and they offered to change rooms for us. I declined, just let them know I wanted to make sure they knew we hadn't smoked in there (we are not smokers).
Everything else was great. We had a 1 night stay and will definitely stay at this location again.
The decor was very cabin feeling and quaint. There was a fireplace in the lobby where we sat for several hours visiting our friends who were also staying here.
Breakfast in the AM was great, but a lot of carbs. Waffles, biscuits and gravy, sausage and scrambled eggs. Also individually wrapped muffins and bread (they took the time to wrap them in saran so they wouldn't get stale). Also bananas and greek yogurt. I believe there was also some cold cereal and milk. We enjoyed it very much. There was no OJ or apple juice, but there was cold fruit juice and cold water right around the corner in the lobby. The coffee was hot and fresh, and they had flavored creamers!
