Start of a fantastic holiday!

The Silver Cloud is located on the south end of Lake Union. We have stayed here three times this year and have had a excellent experience each time. The hotel rooms are very nice, the view is wonderful and breakfast is amazing. This is our home when we visit our daughter in Seattle. Thanks for taking great care of us when we visit.

hard mattress-no parking

Great location, easy access to freeway. For the expensive cost for one night certainly not worth it. Basic mattress that was hard..my husband slept an hour...outdated wallpaper lifting from wall as well as ceiling paint. Breakfast buffet was very crowded. Very little parking, especially for size of SUV.

Fantastic Shuttle Service

The shuttle service was wonderful. They were always prompt and courteous. Super reliable. Front desk staff was nice in answering any questions we had. The breakfast was wonderful. Lots of variety in what was offered to eat and a large seating area. The view was really pretty. The rooms were roomy and had nice large tv's. We really liked that there was a sink inside and outside the bathroom. Very helpful when getting ready in the mornings.

New favorite hotel in Seattle

My family and I travel to Seattle frequently and have stayed at all of the boutique hotels downtown, but we ended up here over the summer and loved it. It's right on the lake, has free parking and a wonderful breakfast room overlooking the water. If you're interested in exploring different parts of Seattle, this place is great.

When we arrived the power was off due to a windstorm. The staff was very accommodating and even upgraded us due to our several hour wait.

Excellent Breakfast Included!

This hotel has a nice location with free covered hotel parking. What we enjoyed was the complementary hot breakfast. The room where dining is at is very well setup and great food.

Super Lage

Waren im Solver Cloud Inn während unseres Westküsten-Trips für zwei Nächte. Lage ist toll, Frühstück passt. Wenn man nicht den kurzen Weg zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten laufen will, bietet das Hotel sogar einen Shuttlebus an.

Great location

The hotel is clean, the staff very friendly and helpfull, the breakfast is good and the location is very nice. The free shuttle to the center functions well and in front of the hotel also a tram and bus to the center.

Great location for us. Cool to watch all the boats and seaplanes on Lake Union. A bit noisy though from all the boats and seaplanes on Lake Union. Ok at night though.

Little Gem!

Silver Cloud Lake Union was a nice hotel in a good location! Transportation options and hotel shuttle were great. Several very nice dining options within walking distance. I would highly reccommend this property.

A Great family getaway!

We had never stayed at a Silver Cloud Inn before, but we definitely will be looking for them from now on! The staff was exceptional! Whatever we needed or had hoped for was met. The rooms were very clean and accommodating. We saw many sites while in Seattle, but it was also a great sight to see and know the Silver Cloud Inn Seattle - Lake Union was there for us as well!

Awesome location

The hotel is situated near some authentic restaurants and a tramway so that visitors don't have to waste time searching for places to eat. With a gorgeous lake view, we had a pleasant time enjoying our breakfast buffet as well as gym and spa amenities. We highly appreciated the fact that there was always coffee, tea and water available for guests to serve themselves. Thanks!

Good Deal

Enjoyed staying here while we were in Seattle for a M's game. We were very pleased with this hotel and price. I have celiac disease so I was excited when they had gluten free options at the continental breakfast. Beautiful view of the lake also. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Trip to find an apartment

The hotel is conveniently located at the south end of Lake Union. One can walk about 20 minutes to the Space Needle or downtown. Or, the hotel shuttle will drop off/pick up guests to these locations in addition to Pioneer Square. Breakfast is outstanding!

Family gathering another success

We are frequent travelers to Seattle as our children live there. After trying a number of hotels, we always return to the Silver Cloud at Lake Union. The location on the lake is superb, access to Seattle attractions is excellent, and the hotel staff, rooms, and facilities are hard to top. We do not hesitate to recommend it to friends.

Wonderful hotel!

For the price you're paying, you get quite the deal... A few important things to me when booking a hotel are a pool and hot tub. They have both, and it is open 24 hours.... Score! Free wifi.... Check! Free parking.... Check! Clean rooms, and we were even offered an upgrade when we arrived, to a room with a hot tub... Amazing! (Though I'm sure it doesn't happen every time. It was a very nice touch!) very close to downtown, walking distance to the lake/ some good restaurants... Also, the hotel staff was wonderful and they served an ACTUAL breakfast for free every morning.... Will definitely be staying here again in a few months when we come back :))

Great Theater Trip

Check-in staff very polite and courteous. She provided us with good information and reviews on the theater play we were going to see. She attended this play two nights previous. The shuttle driver was great. He took us directly to the theater and picked us up after the play. Breckfast was good. We have stayed here before and will continue to use this Silver Cloud when we stay in Seattle.

Girls Weekend in Seattle

I enjoyed my stay in a different Silver Cloud Hotel in the summer, so chose this one in the fall. The room was just as comfortable and clean as I remembered it. The location turned out to be great right off the freeway, and only a few minutes drive to downtown Seattle. LOVE the shuttle service Silver Cloud offers at all their hotels, makes it really easy to explore Seattle without dealing with traffic and parking. This S.C. had a free breakfast included, which was fine, it was a busy holiday weekend, so alot of guests, alot of food gone quickly.
