"We really liked the Belltown Inn! The staff was super friendly and helpful and gave us a little "VIP" bag with a bottle of water and a bottle of Martinelli's sparkling apple cider. There were also two small bags of baked apple chips in the room for us.
Even though we got there a few hours before check-in, they had a room ready for us. It was nice not to have to store our luggage and to be able to change clothes and freshen up in our room before we headed out to explore.
Speaking of the room, it was well-appointed and decently sized for our one night stay. It had a kitchenette and an in-room safe and the cutest tiny balcony I've ever seen! It had a slider with a screen that you could open to people watch and listen to the sounds of the street below.
The hotel is well-located, within walking distance to Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, the Seattle Waterfront, and Westlake Center that houses the closest Link Light Rail station, which we used quite a bit. There are also several restaurants close by including a good Mexican restaurant, Hatch Cantina, on the same block.
Like any big city, there was a fair number of homeless people within the surrounding blocks but we never felt threatened by anyone.
The price for our room was very fair and less than other, comparable hotels close by.
We will definitely stay there again!"
