I never experienced in my life staying in a hotel that was so dirty, nasty and unfriendly manager! I booked a hotel in SureStay hotel in Monterey last weekend. I got two queen beds non smoking. When we enter the room I could smell the weed and smoking inside. The beds are so nasty and dirty. The next door you can hear their conversation and and I tried calling the front desk but I lg was clod already. Please do not stay in this hotel! I talked to the manager the next day and not even a single complains that I experienced to that place even bother her. She doesn’t care. As long I stayed there and leave the next day that’s all she cares about the managers name in that location is “Ash”

The only thing I liked about it that the room was clean but everything in the room was very small or lack of sitting area no table awkward areas to have coffee pot a chair in the corner and no table to sit at even if we took food back to the room, breakfast was terrible and not worth going

I spent $150 for a room with a jetted Tub only to find out that everything was dirty. The bathtub was dirty, walls were dirty, windows looked like they’ve never been clean, spiderwebs on the ceiling, loose hair on towels and in the ice bucket, and the chair that was in the room had dirt on the seat. The staff was nice but overall was not a pleasant time. Being in the military, it doesn’t take much to make me comfortable but the experience here was disappointing.

The woman at the front desk was not very polite. The $100 deposit has not been remitted to my bank card after 6 days and counting. The 1 vending machine (soda) was broken. The room was nice and clean.

The girl who checked us in was great but room keys did not work so it took 30 mins to get put in another room only to have issues with TV. Not super clean but ok. No air conditioning in the bedroom. Was like an oven! Terrible overall. I think tbeir staff need to worry about doing a better job with customers . They walk around property doing exercise making us wsit. Ridiculous.nobody at desk for checkout. Would not recommend this place
