"Staff onsite limited hours, but friendly when I was there. The neighborhood is great. This is an older property and shows its bones in certain areas. The toilet ran every couple of minutes for 5 seconds or so (distracting), the walls are thin (bring earplugs!), most finishes are worn. There was a random screw underneath the fitted bedsheet that I had to fish out before getting into bed, no idea how it got there. "

"We absolutely loved the Lyle Hotel. Our room was very comfortable with so many well thought out details. The interior design was unique and beautiful. We also loved the neighborhood and location. This is definitely the place to stay in DC!"

"The supervisor on the front desk was terrible, she’s not nice and very rude. She needs to learn how to welcome guest in a friendly way!! My husband was very upset with her because at first we asked her if we can check in early because we had plans and the way she responded was very off and that makes my husband very angry and so they got into a heated argument. She even asked where we parked our car and we need to pay for the fee without even asking if we already had a parking spot booked outside, we just need to park for a few minutes to unload our stuffs and bring inside our room because we already booked a parking garage close to the hotel but it takes us an hour to finished checking in because we changed room thrice due to very loud AC fan and the room smells really bad. But after we settled and finally finished checking in, she then apologized about how she treated us during our stay. Despite what had happened earlier, the engineer that checked our AC was very kind and polite."

"A beautiful hotel. I felt like royalty from the moment I arrived. Upbeat space, very woman empowered vibe. Bar was fun and always ppl there. Clean, comfy bed and pillows. Love the shower, so unique. Def worth it, I will be back "

"Usually this hotel is top notch. However this time there was dust on the tv base, dirt in the corner of the bathroom. Also our room was laid out poorly. The tv didn’t face the bed or the chair. Weird! "
