"Proper stay for a night or two. Very friendly welcome at the bar. Room was recently renovated with a good mattress and clean bathroom. Improvement points: Hallway to the rooms smells to smoking. Service at breakfast could be improved, the lady seemed in a bad mood."

"Our room was spacious and was cleaned thoroughly every day whilst we were there.Staff were all helpful and all appeared to know their job role and responsibilities.Breakfast was initially from a menu but was changed to a buffet on our last two mornings.Both ways were fine and there was a very good choice of hot and cold food. "Property is under repair work which I would expect due to its age , but they didn’t start until about 10 am and finished around 6. Breakfast was hot and had a wide variety"

"From the moment I was on this property I knew this is where I was meant to be. I was only there for one night, although when I return to South Uist I will certainly stay longer. The Breakfast was outstanding, the knowledge of the area from the owner and how helpful he was, was refreshing. This property and management is a 10 out of 10 for me. See you when I return :)"
