They didn’t clean my room. I mentioned it to the lady at the reception the next morning. She said she would check that for me and then I came back the second night and the room was clean. The aircon does not work properly it only comes on for one minute every 10-15 mins which is not enough to cool the room down.
Nice and welcoming staff, spotless functional room (although very small and basic). Very Good deal for the price especially during the Christmas market season.

The hotel location was good and the staff was polite, but unfortunately our stay was very uncomfortable. The air conditioning in the room did not work during our entire 4-night stay. We informed the staff multiple times and were told it would be repaired, but nothing was ever fixed.
Because of this, we had to leave the window open every night, which made it very difficult to sleep due to the constant noise from outside. In addition, the check-in process took a long time before we were attended.
Overall, the lack of air conditioning and poor sleep quality negatively affected our experience.

Room was small and we couldn't even fully open our luggages. All hotels were very expensive during the holiday season. We only needed for one night stay, so it was considered a pretty good option for ourn budget. Tram station is right outside of the hotel, it's pretty convenient. Plan with extra time tho, I think trams run every 10-15 minutes.
Bathroom was also small. You pretty much can't avoid touching the shower curtain when taking shower. But I would say it was the best shower during our whole trip, great water pressure and hot enough. One thing new to us is they provided a passcode for accessing the room instead of room key. We didn't book breakfast, but we ended up paying that morning because nothing really open on Sunday. And also we smelled pastry since 6am in the morning, kinda made us want breakfast downstair.
Good location for the tram and free parking is a bonus. Rooms are small and basic but clean. Breakfast is very basic. Housekeeping was hit and miss — the room was cleaned on day 2 but the bed wasn’t made on day 3. We were only given one towel and one pillow each, but the helpful receptionist provided more when we asked.
The real issue was the other male receptionist. He was consistently rude and unhelpful. When we arrived early, he refused to check if the room was ready and had a young woman draped over his chair, which looked very unprofessional. When I asked about English subtitles on the TV, he said, “You’re in France so they are French.”
At checkout, he acted like he didn’t understand me asking for his name until I said “je m’appelle,” and then pretended not to know what Google was — while standing in front of the “Rate us on Google” sign.
Hotel is fine for a budget stay, but his attitude really let it down.
The lock on the door is broken and the door closer is broken. I had to push the screws in so that I can close the door. I didn't feel secure in the hotel; also, the elevator was not working as well. I had to go back to the car to leave the luggage and get a few things so I can get over for one night.
Close to tram to get downtown. Bathrooms are very small and did not have toilet paper refilled. Breakfast extremely meager. 6 people including myself in line for scrambled eggs from a pot that looks like it could feed a family of only 2. Also, the coffee maker makes only enough for about 2-3 ounces ( Dixie cup).
Lobby smells smoky, property over all needs upgrading from cheap looking bathroom linoleum flooring to handwritten signs etc.

Do not buy a hotel room here if you have booked for a good price. Chances are they will cancel your booking a few days before you're supposed to go there and then still claim that the booking is valid when Hotels.com customer support contacts them. I had this exact experience. Despite getting rejected by the counter (after the first confirmation that my booking was supposedly still valid) they still claimed to Hotels.com that my booking was valid. After 3rd attempt of going there, i was finally offered a new hotel.
Stay away from this hotel.
Room was nice/quiet...hotel close to tram...convenient for downtown travel.
Check-in was a bit lengthy...problems with internet...couldn't get my room code.
Check-in was at 2, but nobody was there until almost 1430...there were several people waiting. The hotel itself was fine...older, a little worn, but not bad.
No refund provided and took 100% of my room charge for no show even if the bill was saying it should be 80%. I try to get a refund for the 20% but the hotel never replied. It’s been 3 weeks. Oh well…

Not for big size /shower with curtain touching you
The smell of the room and toilet wasnt the best. I'm a small size women and I still found that shower with the curtain on your face is quite a challenge. I could barely bend down to wash my legs and I can't imagine how my 1.8m husband managed it😂 It was just a stopover for our family. For the price sake & 10 mins drive from Strasbourg centre for a quick dinner. It isn't that bad. Another plus side, bedding is clean, no need to check out & onsite parking.

Air conditioner was not properly working in a hot night.
Needs a lot of refurbishment. When we arrived the water was dripping through the ceilings and lights!!! No warning signs. No A/C in the room was hard to sleep. The third bed didn't have any duvet or pillow so my child was sleeping under the towel.
