"Perfectly placed for travel to and from Gare du Midi; only a short walk and you’re there. Clean, comfortable room at a reasonable price, with a local supermarket next to the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff at reception. The neighbourhood is a bit run-down, as is usual near most big railway stations, but felt safe. I’ll definitely be staying there again."

"The room was clean but needed decoration. Bed was comfortable. Perhaps more coffee sachets. The walls are thin and fellow guests could be heard at nighttime which made it noisy. There was also the sound of a boiler which made it difficult to sleep at first."

"The hotel itself is good as it is just 5 min from Brussels Zuid. Apart from the noise from the nearby construction in the morning, it is quite far from the city centre. It is about 25 min walk to tge Grand Place and the neighbourhood is a bit rundown."

"Hotel was nice. Staff were kind. The south part of Brussles leaves a lot to be desired. While we understand that it is near the main south train station, there were many people outside of the hotel begging for money/food/drugs which left my wife feeling unnerved. It is conflicting to me as I do not feel that the hotel itself should be penalized for people who gather outside but as a guest, being constantly badgered while near the entrance to the property is frustrating and makes us reconsider where to stay should we return."

"Great location, very close to Grand Place and within walking distance of many attractions in central Brussels. We didn’t need a car for most places, although you would need one or public transport for Atomium and Mini-Europe. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the air conditioning worked well. The main downside is that the hotel has no parking. Street parking is expensive and not ideal, but I found a nearby parking garage for about €31 per 24 hours. Checkout was a little difficult because there was nowhere to stop the car near the hotel to load our luggage. Overall, a very positive stay, especially if you are visiting Brussels without a car."

"Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. The rooms were a little bigger than most Ibis hotels I’ve stayed at. Aircon was good and there was the ability to open the window for fresh air too. Kettle and mugs were provided along with tea bags and coffee plus a bottle of water. Despite the hotel being full, we heard very little noise from any other guests during our five night stay. A water dispenser in reception was handy for refilling our water bottle. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the bar was comfortable and inviting. The location was excellent, just across the road from Gare du midi. We caught the metro 6 here which took us directly to the stadium and area where the Atomium is. We also caught the W bus directly outside which took us down to the Waterloo memorial sites. The area outside at night is not somewhere I’d like to hang about but walking from the station or local restaurant was fine. I’d highly recommend a stay here."

"A great hotel with a very fun theme. Staff was very kind and helpful, and the room quality and amenities were excellent, dryer for clothes could be better. General location is fine, neighborhood wise could be better (not a point against the hotel) but there is a nearby tram to take you to the City Center. Overall a great stay, hope to come by again soon."
