"My husband and I traveled to Munich for Oktoberfest and stayed at the Maximilian Munich Apartment and Hotel. The location was perfect — within easy walking distance of the Old Town, Marienplatz, the Neues Rathaus, and plenty of great restaurants. It’s also conveniently close to the metro. We had a one-bedroom suite, and it was absolutely perfect. The space included a small kitchen (we didn’t cook, but it was great having a fridge and cupboards), a cozy living room, and a dining area. "The room was clean, spacious and well appointed. The bed was quite firm. The area around the hotel was very busy and loud - but it easy walking distance to the festival grounds where Oktoberfest is held and to the main train station. It is a bit further out from the Marienplatz and main part of town. There is a decent bar in the lobby and they offer luggage storage. There are several dining options near the hotel with cuisines from many different countries."

"We travel a lot, Germany was not necessarily the easiest to find small properties with reasonable prices. Many businesses had intentionally inflated their rates because of Oktoberfest. As fun and festive Oktoberfest is to experience, the event is located in a large outside space that you need to find your way to, and navigate through thousands of festival goers and probably get discouraged from paying for overpriced food and beer, especially when it’s next to impossible to enter a bier garten....

"Hotel was excellent. I enjoyed a 3 night stay. The room was exceptionally large, modern and clean. Perfect for a luxury solo or couples trip. The bar on the top floor was a really nice space to enjoy an afternoon drink. Location was perfect being in the heart of Munich old town with lots of sights within walking distance, and close to public transport connections. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. I would easily stay here again. "
