"This was such a find! Stayed one night with friends in a private room while we hiked in the Brecon Beacons and it was perfect for what we needed. Perks included - plenty of drying rooms (it rained the whole time we were there so this was very much needed!), restaurant and bar, cosy lounge with fire and board games, and a sink in the room. Easy to find, plenty of parking, and great location. If I'm in the area again I will definitely come back."

"My husband and I had a really lovely stay at the Usk & Railway Inn, from the friendly greeting at check in, the clean, good sized and comfortable room, with a good complimentary tray of tea, coffee and biscuits, and toiletries, to the superb evening meal (a fantastic Sunday roast), we had a wonderful nights sleep. It was finished off by a hearty cooked breakfast, which we both thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you both, you’re great hosts. "

"Sited in the Beacons in its own grounds, location is just idilic. Plenty of parking with easy access and a warm, friendly welcome on entering reception you do feel like you are privileged just being there. Rooms are large, well appointed and clean. "What a lovely night away. Mark and Karen were brilliant hosts. Clean rooms with all the amenities you need. Great array of drinks and snacks available. Soft towels and comfy beds. Delicious breakfast cooked by Karen. All the ingredients were excellent quality and cooked excellently. A perfect little base for a weekend in Wales. We enjoyed walking Pen Y fan.
