"The modern hotel itself is a great facility set in a modern library setting with a variety of interesting books free to peruse. The two outstanding problems with this hotel are (1) access by public transportation is very limited, forcing the guests to hire a taxi to convenient nearby train stations such as Tokorozawa station costing 2,400-2,600 yen each way, and (2) the breakfast purchased optionally is practically the same throughout your stay—three different kinds of sandwiches. "The owners are very attentive, and present the Ryokan as your being a guest in their home. The traditional tatami is clean and comfortable. Lots of art and Japanese mementos all over, make you feel that you are in aJapanese home. Hot baths too!"

"Staff were very courteous and hotel was very clean. The hotel is very quiet, but surrounding area is a bit noisey and I would recommend ear plugs at night. I would definitely stay here again."

"We had a great stay! The hotel was located in a convenient location close to lots of convenience stores, restaurants, and Shinjuku station. The room was surprisingly spacious for a group of four. The staff are friendly and very helpful!"
"I've never stayed at this hotel before, but I'm glad I did! My room was comfortable and clean. I like how the TV allows you to see what the statuses are of the laundry/drying machines (and yes, this hotel does have them! Multiple, as a matter of fact!) And finally, the staff was very helpful. They spoke English, and on my trip, I requested that they book a taxi for me twice early in the mornings, which they did. Thank you so much! I definitely wouldn't mind coming back here in the future. "
"My fourth time i have stayed here. I enjoyed my stay again. Always a clean room, quiet. Laundry facilities where busy though but that’s not the hotels fault."
"You have to check in on the money to yourself. You can’t have the agents help to do it, which is unusual for me. Everything else was great. The staff and everything but the rooms are much smaller than what I’m used to for the amount of money I paid for."
"Second time booking at Knot. First was during Tokyo Marathon. I will book again when I visit Tokyo. It may be a bit of a walk to Shinjuku Station but the place is not chaotic which I prefer. The restaurant at the second floor is very good too aside from the bread they sell at the lobby. "
