Although the hotel is on a rather busy street did not hear any traffic from the room (facing the road). The historic center of town is just across the street and very easy to reach and enjoy. "Perfect for an overnight - bed spotlessly clean, staff lovely, location perfect! Great pub restaurant across road - all great! Only negative is bathrooms could do with upgrading but I would absolutely stay again. "

"Beautiful Chateaux. Rooms and updated with beautiful decoration. We had a Junior Suite, which was quite large and had many windows. Very pleasant. The only down-side was the shower arrangement. No enclosed shower area, only a Tub on top of which the spray shower can be attached. As a result all of the water ended up on the floor! Also the faucets could use an update, as they sprayed in a jet like fashion causing the water to splash all over. There was no A/C, but fortunately during our stay in late July, the temperature was very pleasant, and there was no need for A/C. Bed was a little hard and uneven. (could use an update). Convenient free parking on the grounds available. Surrounding pastural areas and views were lovely. Breakfast was high quality and very good. "
