"The view is what sells the apartment .. it's all downhill from there really. Or should I say 'uphill' as there are 53 steps and 4 potholed paths to get to and from the top apt. Had the number of steps been advertised I would not have booked a stay at the Cove. There is quite a lot of noise from the road and railway which runs right outside. If the look they were going for was 'shabby chic' .. they certainly achieved 'Shabby' ! Walls marked and plaster crumbling away in various places. ...

"The hotel is a beautiful historic building and has been reovated to a very high srandard. Faith who hosted us at the hotel is a total delight, welcoming and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious too. Great location overlooking the ocean, the wide verandah the perfect spot to enjoy the views. "This was an excellent stay. The hotel contacted us in advance to offer early access to the room and to confirm our arrival time. The hotel manager, Wonderful, was a welcoming and helpful host.
