Amazing experience after the initial problem that was remedied right away!! I called the hotel around 4pm to inform the hotel we were going to be arriving late from Atlanta -to be sure not to cancel our reservations, as our Expedia reservation was cancelled last year in NYC when we arrived around 8:30pm. Tho Thompson Hyatt hotel rep in Savannah said they could not find our reservations, as another person with our same last name had cancelled their reservations, which is off because our last name is not a common spelling. They reinstated our reservation without any issues. When we arrived Donna &the front desk manager, Tristan couldn’t be more professional and even upgraded our stay due to the misunderstanding. We had them hold our bags since we had a hungry 17 year old and were at the restaurant at 9:20, 10 minutes before they closed, and the waiter and hostess were so kind & never rushed us even though we felt bad to keep them past 9:30. The food was amazing (oysters, spring roles, cheese tray, etc.) By the time we got up to our room the sofa bed was pulled out into a bed with sheets & pillows for my son. The riverfront hotel is new and have a beautiful design & work areas in the lobby, the rooms, gym, and all 3 restaurants (rooftop bar restaurant had beautiful views, design inside and outside) were super clean & the free bike, free Tesla local driver (Charlie, Adonis, Allen) were all our interaction (Tristan/Donna/Amanda concierge/Thayer valets all A ! We will be back!
