"We had a lovely stay at Cozy Casitas! Joani was a lovely host and was very helpful and gave great local advice. The accommodation was very clean, the kitchen had everything you need, the outdoor area was peaceful and enjoyable, and most importantly the air conditioning worked very well. We recommend renting a car as taxis can get quite expensive quickly - we rented a car for $231USD for about a week from Chener car rental and we recommend organizing that instead of paying for taxis. I asked about the time for the free continental breakfast the details showed. She claims because it wasn't on the confirmation of the reservation, she was not going to honor it. "Unique experience in converted shipping containers. The place is clean but could use some additional maintenance. The room itself did not have hot water, showers are solar heated, i.e. lukewarm at best. The grounds are a work in progress, the caretakers are busy working but looks like it'll be a while before everything is updated. "The room was very clean and the bedding was very comfortable. The stairs leading to our room were very steep. Our room was situated separate from the other rooms. Assistance was needed to carry luggage upstairs and these stairs could be deemed as challenging for the elderly and people with special needs. The staff are very friendly. "This property is located just south of the airport not in the tourist area. We were less than 1 minute walk from the prettiet water in one direction and less than one minute walk from the cheapest liguor in town and cheaper than the airport. "The property was absolutely amazing and the staff were so kind. Housekeeping were always awesome and left the room speck and clean and smelling good every day. The breakfast was good but repetitive and lots of roosters on the property to let you know when it’s the morning. However the property is situated quite far inside the island so unless you rent a car or are willing to call a taxi everything it will be inconvenient. Everything else 10/10, we always got the pool to ourselves at night too...
