"The owner accommodated us in another property inside the city limits stating that their property is under repair ! The accommodation provided was having just rooms with a/c facility, no hot water, running taps with a kitchen and dining hall. No swimming pool. "We enjoyed our time at Center Park. They organized our elephant safari and taxis into town which was just a five minute drive. The staff were very friendly and the pool was a nice break from the heat. It was a bit dirty but the stagf cleaned it when we asked. Also, the ac doesn’t work with power outages so I would recommend going in the cooler season if possible. The buffet they offered was mainly indian food and tasted good, but overall the food was a bit overpriced for Nepal in our opinion....

"Aufgrund der guten Bewertungen haben wir uns für das Chitwan Safari camp&lodge entschieden. Leider waren wir bei unserer Ankunft sehr enttäuscht. Die Zimmerwände waren nicht verputzt, es gab keinen Strom im Badezimmer, kein warmes Wasser und die Klospülung lief die ganze Nacht. Ein Zimmerwechsel war nicht möglich, da angeblich ausgebucht, ob wohl ein Großteil der Zimmer leer stand. Am nächsten Morgen bot man uns nach mehrmaligem nachfragen und drei Stunden warten schließlich ein verschimmeltes...

"Overall property was pretty good with garden area and outside dining. Food was acceptable. Off the main road and so less dust and traffic noise. Fan and AC unit worked. Room not as clean as it should be. Main problem, they had screen doors on each room which made a loud banging noise every time they were closed. With about 20 rooms that can make for a lot of unpleasant noise especially at all hours of the night. Also lots of people were smoking in all of the nice outside areas, not in the rooms...

"My stay in Green Mansions was just phenomenal. I constantly forgot I was in Chitwan as the hotel was so much more gorgeous and beautifully designed than many 5 star hotels in the big cities. You could tell the owner has great taste and aesthetics. Every detail in the room and the yard were well thought of: Nice little plants in room; Plenty of trees around room to provide privacy, and a gorgeous view when you look up from the hammock. The activities were amazing too. Kanan is a wonderful guide. In the jeep safari, our driver navigated the trip slowly and gave us enough time whenever we spotted animals. While all other jeeps rushed through the forest, we were the only group to spot a beautiful scene of a deer family walking across a grassland, as probably some of them only come out before sunset when it gets cooler. No need to worry about food too. The restaurant provides excellent food. The friendly and professional service from Cwin was much appreciated. Definitely the place to stay whenever you are in Chitwan."
