Jean-Phillipe had some local wines available to sample and also has a BBQ that can be used and a games room. The swimming pool was very clean and everything very well maintained. It’s a short drive to Saumur where there are shops and restaurants and activities such as bike hire. Would recommend."

"We had a wonderful week. Maria and her husband are fantastic hosts. Throughout the week they checked everything was alright and asked if we needed anything. The breakfasts that Maria delivered every day were fabulous, plentiful and freshly prepared. We had freshly prepared tarts, fruit, homemade jams etc. The house is perfect for two, set in beautiful gardens, with the use of a small swimming pool.We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we visited the same area in the future. "This hotel was in a fabulous location, we had a view of the river and it’s really close to town without being close enough to be annoyed by the noise from bars and restaurants. We had a family suite which was lovely and the bunk beds were round the corner from our bed allowing me to read by my phone light whilst the kids went to bed. It was clean with a good shower. Although there is no onsite parking there is free parking opposite which works well. No complaints from us - we thought it was fabulous."
