I paid more for my room as comapred to our friends room. Cos it stated in the tittle "Sea View".. My buddy's room was just next to mine also with pratically the same sea view.. The room balcony or windows did not even open up the sea "view". Other than that it was OK,I justi could have saved me a couple of moola's $$..

Good value for money. Clean and nice rooms, with breakfast delivered to your door step. Very helpful and friendly staffs, who also provided transport to and from the immigration. Could see the sunrise from our room too as it is right by the beach

Amazing stay at Cabana Lipe beach resort
Amazing! Great straff, beach, hotel, beds and breakfast! The straff is so helpfull and the rooms are modern and very clean. The breakfast was wonderful- we got it served on the balcony every morning at choosen time.

The room and grounds were on the small side but everything was clean and worked. However, the biggest problem was that the hotel tends to OVERBOOK seaview rooms... I got a partial sea view room when I had booked a full seaview one (the booking page on Expedia doesn’t offer a category of “partial seaview”), and I saw other guests being denied seaview rooms upon checkin despite their reservation printout explicitly showing so. Therefore, book with caution.

Very ggo location on the beach
The staff at the hotel are very friendly. The location is excellent on the beach. The breakfast is very nice, big variety. It is a very comfortable clean room. Overall a great hotel to book.

Nice breakfasts, excellent tropical fish.
Good hotel, excellent breakfast served on our balcony. The beach is also a harbour for over 100 longtail boats which continually service the island. They are a real hazard for swimming and snorkelling. Plenty of tropical fish to see. Access to hotel is via a street of shacks surrounded by rubbish, this would put some travellers off. However I think most of the island I see like this with high quality beachfront hotels, hemmed in by local shacks and very bad condition housing. Overall the island needs management of its development which currently seems to have little direction.

There is a mosquito on the last night. Suggest the resort to have mosquito repellent inside the room. Also, the way out to the main road is quite dark. Overall a good stay.

The stuff dreams are made of!
I think this could be the best choice in Koh Lipe. Our room was a couple of meters from the beautiful clear water. It is located on the quiet side of Koh lipe. The staff picked us up in a shiny Tuk Tuk and delivered us to a perfect beachfront room. We were given a welcome drink and a lovely smile and were left in our room where we were served breakfast every morning. Koh lipe itself is my favourite island in Thailand because it is quiet and has a beautiful reef to the east of Lipe. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who stays in Koh lipe.

good location. you can access the beach in less than 1 minute that's why it's so easy to go snorkelling. and quite close to the main street for food. there is no restaurant, but this can be its biggest strength because you'll be served breakfast to your room every morning. staffs were very kind and cooperative.

Beach Front Hotel with Attentive Staffs
Very good experience with Cabana Lipe Beach Resort, a beach front hotel right on the beach. Hotel compound is a little bit small but the room is very spacious, very clean room and toilet. Staffs are very attentive and friendly. I messaged the hotel upon arrival at the immigration for pick up arrangement, and they show up shortly after the message was sent. As mentioned that the hotel compound is a little too small, there's no restaurant nor pool in the compound. Breakfast will be served at your balcony, ample of choices, taste good. They do have kitchen although no restaurant, so ordering room service/ to be served at the beach is not a problem.

A disappointing experience
Well, for such a high price per day in the lowest season (price is much higher in high season) we expected much more than we finally got. Small 20 m2 room, old furniture, old water taps, water flowing into apartment during heavy rains... Breakfast is very moderate, definitely not a "buffet breakfast". But the worst surprise was awful dirt on the island - it's really a nightmare when u have to clean most of the Lipe's beaches every time you visit it in the morning. Very high prices almost on everything: cheese, bread, wine, beer about 4-6 times more expensive than even in Paris, vegetables and fruits about the same price (though they are growing virtually on the street)... A lot of stray dogs and their excrements everywhere on the beaches. Awful smells, especilly while heavy rains when the whole islands resembles one big, dirty pool. Huge number of new constructions. It's our 3-rd and the last time on Koh Lipe - the island died as a tourist attraction during just one last year. Overall we paid for 3 weeks vacation the same price as for 3 weeks stay in the centre of Paris in a luxury apartment with a view on Louvre. But in Thailand we have got nothing for that price. Such a pity.

Beautiful resort
We stayed at Cabana Lipe for three nights and we were absolutely happy with every aspect of our stay. Hotel staff was friendly and the location is great, on the best beach of the island. It is quiet and within walking distance of several beach bars and restaurants.

Comfortable and great stay!
Very enjoyable and relaxing stay at the resort. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There is also free pickup to and fro the Custom. Room is modern and will definitely stay at Cabana again.

Comfortable stay steps away from the beach.
Staff was fantastic at the hotel. Arranged a pick up for free after getting off the boat straight to the hotel. Manager arranged some birthday cupcakes, fruit and card in the room for my girlfriend's birthday as a surprise. Definitely appreciate the effort. Nice touch to have breakfast on the balcony. Only minor issues with hotel is that the shower curtains were wrapped in such a way that while it looked pretty and on display when we arrived. it was tangled in such a way that we couldn't unravel it. A minor issue but why make such a simple thing so difficult? Plus the water pressure was a bit lacking but enough to shower with. Overall a great relaxing stay. Great value and would recommend to anyone.

Location is great and rooms are clean. Staff forgot our breakfast order 2 out 4 days and forgot to restock room amenities 2 out of 4 days. Despite this would definitely still recommend. The dogs on the beach are friendly and adorable:)

Great value. 1/2 the price of other comparable hotels. Only problem is all the boats parked right out front. Most hotels on sunrise beach have that same problem.

Hotel ligt direct aan het strand aan de rand van het dorp. Binnen een paar minuten sta je in de schikking walking street. De kamers met direct zeezicht zijn perfect gelegen. Maar er zijn mooiere hotels te boeken voor iets met geld

Nice staff, but not our choice next time
Overall a god place with great staff and service. Can get noicy because og the thin walls and shallow entrance to the hotel. You can easily hear and see all other guests when sitting on the balcony. Beds are very hard. Too many boats at the beach front and a very narrow and strap beach on high tide. Close for the best spot for snorkeling. We have been staying on the sunrise beach for many years of traveling, but now it seems pattaya beach is better.
