"Great place to stay and dining was nice 👌"

"The room was very dirty. There were ants in the bathroom, roaches, dead beetles and spiders. There were body hairs under the sheets and on the sheets. We got breakfast and my daughter’s apple was completely rotted. The elevator was covered in dust. Also there’s no privacy in the bathroom so beware of that - the sink is next to the beds and the door to the toilet doesn’t shut all the way. There is no room service even though there’s a restaurant and the wait times are awful. I was told I’d get at least a partial refund and I never received it, though I did get my security deposit back. They told us they’re understaffed with housekeeping but I would’ve stayed elsewhere. Also there’s a giveaway if you leave a positive review so that’s where all of those are coming from. "

"I loved all the beautiful little nooks and conversation places where one could read quietly or meet a friend or sip coffee, feeling like this stylish and comfortable place belonged to just you. The fire tables were so welcome on chilly mornings and the indoor/oudoor places to have breakfast were so appealing. Drift was a gorgeous dining facility and I took many pictures of the lighting, the blue tiles surrounding the pizza oven, and the views of the water. Chocolates delivered each night were special also. Well done, Lido Beach Resort!"

"It was an ok hotel. Decent bed (terrible pillows), good shower and fairly comfortable. The breakfast was not great and lacked variety. However, the staff were friendly and helpful and the location was good for being able to drive to various beaches and resorts in the Sarasota area. The hotel has a pool, but you would need to walk across the car park to get to it and the noise from the surrounding highways would make it a less than relaxing experience. "

"This was a perfect place for us to stay! I traveled with my daughter and grandson (3YO). We loved the private patio area, the in room sink, stove, microwave, etc. They had complimentary use of beach towels which we weren’t aware of until we got there. We made very good use of the pool spot. Loved that there were pool noodles, water shooters and games right in that area. We were only a quick few minutes drive to Siesta Key beach. The room and property were clean and well maintained. You’ll feel the beach vibe before you even get to a beach. Enjoyed this much better than a typical chain hotel. We’ll definitely be back and will highly recommend to friends and family!"
